helo. i have applied thru axis ISBA for 2 lots (350 qty) NHPC IPO . but still now no update. my axis bank ISBA IPO status say "BLOCK"
pls guide me where to check my NHPC allotment status. axis bank customer service is not aailable after banking hours. so iam asking here,. pls guide me
But I expect that some more than whatu indicate may be allotted as happened in case of Adani Power.
Those who have applied for 2625 shares(15 lots)may get ~750 shares.
You need to take into account the unclaimed employees qouta, some invalid applications and some retail applicants who have bid at lower price levels and may not be allotted any shares.
Have the cheque given for IPO subscription start DEBITED in the accounts. I submit my application on 8 aug but my account is still not debited with the cheque amount.
Yes,they are not bound to & not likely to decide on a lower issue price as so many more than required have bid at cut-off/ceiling price of Rs.36 per share. If they do,it will be extremly investor friendly move.
Earlier,PSU's were giving a rebate of 5% to retail investors, which may or may not be followed in this case. Let us see what final price is decided.
THE main reason not apply for ipo under employee quota is :
1. NHPC is public sector company of power sector. Around 60% employee are III AND IV GRADE WORKERS. They have money but they have not DMAT account. and tjey also not have knowledge of trading as software professionals. 2. There is lockin period of one month. 3. Employees are around age of 56 yrs approx.coming retirement soon. They have more liabilities son/daughter education, marriage after retierment money security etc. they cant take risk at this age

--------------------------------- Dear Customer,
Please note that the amount will be blocked in your savings account towards the NHPC IPO. Once the shares are allotted, the amount will be debited from your savings account as per the number of shares allotted to you and the remaining amount will be de-blocked. --------------------------------
