i applied for nhpc shares but still today i not recd refund of 6300/- my application no. 24509542

WoW hats off 2 merchant bankers & NHPC Group they got sucess in selling there sell to retail,FII, mutual fund, Insurance etc. at best price & i am the bigest fool of the world,mad, donkey,etc. etc. who invested my hard earn money in both Adani as well as in NHPC. now i can just bleam my self 4 this. The NHPC group will be haveing party time as it got sucess in selling sell at the top price & will be proud of them self after selling there shars at top price to 1000s & 1000s of investers. HATS OFF TO THE MANAGEMENT OF NHPC AS WELL AS THE MERCHANT BANKERS.

Please look at the time of post. It is showing one hour excess. When I submit a comment at 10 PM , it displays as 11 PM. Please take action.

Now people may predict NHPC might touch 300 in two years. Becos there is no limits for imagination and dreams. But for reality, one should look at NHPC.

dear pl. tell me that have anybody with hdfc bank saving a/c and hdfc sec.demat a/c have received the refund of nhpc.

Dear Vikas, There is another PSU called GIPL-excellent company, it is available at around 1.1 BV in the market. Book value alone can not determine the valuation of company. In case of NHPC it's BOOK is earning only 6.5% profit, (i.e. 6.5% ROE). Hence Why should it be valued 2xbook value??
Also please note NTPC in coming years will have same capacity in Hydel project as NHPC. and NTPC is available to you 18-20x PE multiples.
Where as you can not compare NHPC with Power grid, as it is virtual monopoly in transmission business and should command higher book multiples. Besides it's ROE is much higher than NHPC.
NHPC will double it's capacity in five years, so its profit will double in five years. Means at Rs.36 it is trading at 18xPE multiple (EPS = 2rs. after 4-5 years). So why should you buy NHPC now, where as powergrid is availabe to you today's 18xmultiple, and it is growing healthy 20% growth rate.
So wake up this REtail investor psychology of buying low value stocks thinking it will go to triple digit

Hi Guys, I have also invetsed good amount in NHPC @36.38. But i feel that this stock is expensive at this price. Company and lead manager are saying that at 36 it is trading at 2 times of Book Value today ,where as NTPC is trading at 3 times of book value. But If we compare this stock in terms of PE then NHPC is trading at 40 PE where as NTPC is trading at 20PE that is why it looks expensive. one more thing hydro project should trade at higher PE because of non dependency of raw material like coal or gas. actually i do not have any issue with govrnment if Reliance power can list at 500. now we can see how much over priced was reliance power. at 160 Rpower is trading at 3.5 times of book value today. according to me NHPC will definitely trade at 3BV or higher then this because it is green energy why it is failed on listing gains because of people over expactations. many of us have earned handsomely in power grid in recent past that is why people think that it will double definitely and they applied in this IPO with borrowed money. After one month we will not get this stock at this price definitely.

actually the refund order has reached the bank.
bur karvy has instructed the bank to credit the amount only on 3/9/2009.
your caes may also be the same.
check your a/c balance tomorrow.

If it closes below offer price, then EXIT.

Investors should be happy. Rs.16 worth stock did not list at discount. At least investors can take off their money.

ACCUMULATE < 25 - 20. It has strong fundamentals & future earnings visibility is good. However at current levels, it has no value.

Can some one help me!

I have not received refund from NHPC IPO...can some one tell me whom to contact and where to track?

NHPC is Rs 36.3 and falling

Fair value of oil india is rs 403,on the basis of EPS,book value,EPBT,and MTP be cairful,because Govt, marchant bankers,and relaince group miss giding retal invester and making aritificial demand as NHPC.

I have not received my refund. My application No. 82989505 and my Demat No. 11281980. DP NO. IN300118. I had applied 1225 and I got 333. Kindly confirm the same and oblige.

As per Karvy, they sent refund orders thry ECS on 26th September 2009 itself. But still icici bank (icicidirect account) not credited the amount. Did anyone from ICICI Bank (ICICI Direct), Chennai receive the refund?
