NHPC listing gain will onli happen if the mrkt regains its upward trend, or else nhpc could open at high gains, but soon after 5-10 mins, it could fall to the issue price... so be careful, and watch out for that sensex

i applied for 2750 shares from icici on the 12th of august. the form was accepted and i was given the due receipt. the next day i received a call from icici bank saying that my application was not accpeted by asba as the form was submitted late by icici after cut of time. they have now told me that they will compensate on a pro rata basis after calculating on how much the share opens or lists on opening day. can anyone please tell me if this is fair on part of icici and what kind of compensetaion should i be looking at? thanks

Hi 928,
As far as cheque system is concerned, the amount would have to be cleared before the closing date and be credited into ESCROW account. As regards you are concerned, contact the branch in which you presented the application. Further, in future try deal in online by using ASBA system, under this your amount will be hold and not debited till allotment status come.
Have a nice day.

If the market crashes on the listing day, as it did today, then NHPC will go down to around Rs 25.

the correct value of NHPC is 25 and incidentally that is also the price suggested by the lead managers (20 -25).
The GOM got greedy and hiked the price band to 30-36.

Please keep your fingers crossed

NHPC IPO
Somebody suggested that NHPC IPO (Retail subscription)
more than 7 times
and i suggested somewhere 3 times
and
some are suggesting listing at 60/- and some even 80/-
sell at whose level
it can come near to 36/- level
according to lead manager
Price Band suggested Rs. 26-30/-
where as govt decided on Rs. 30-36/-
being a big issue
if price touches 60/- or above sell on listing day
