Closing Date - 12th August
Allotment Date - 24th August (13th Day)
Refund Date - 25th August (14th Day)
Listing Date - 1st September (21 days)

IMPORTANT - for all IPOs - as per SEBI Circular - IPO shares will be considered for listing in the Derivatives Segment ONLY AFTER 6 MONTHS of trading in the Cash Segment.

Accordingly, NHPC will NOT get listed in F&O immediately.

NHPC grey rates are 5.50 +/- brokerage 0.25
i.e.
NHPC you can sell in grey market @5.75 premium

It will do well and u cant compare it with adani and Rpower having operational capacity on papers .

Ofcourse it will take a bit more time for execution because it is hydro power. But long term gains will be good.
Accumulate it at issue price and below and keep it if u can for long term.

Whatever allotment i get ..m gonna keep it for long term .Not selling it even if we get good opening on listing.

This is kinda Gem in ur stock portfolio.a good profit company and a Govt PSU and power sector.what else do you need?

It seems the news for allotment is fake and is there on Karvy's site in error... Anyways since the O/S is 3.8 times - you can easily guess your allotment +- 5% and appropriately wonder how much you'll earn from the listing ;)

I think it will list above 40 for sure .But , may come down later in few days if the market is weak to the issue price may be below.

But an excellent choice for long term investors .with more projects getting executed, IT WILL NOT DISSAPPOINT YOU

This is my first time applying for an IPO and seems like even govt PSUs are putting high price bands to suck as much possible from investors.

If NHPC was around 20rs it could have been a multibagger on the listing day listing day itself jus like Power grid.

ADANI has really dissappointed ... :-(

wot do u all expect frm nhpc now ? will it list above 40 ????
