Hi, I have apllied of 175 shares of NHPC so tell me hoe much shares alloted

as said in homepage:

August 21, 2009 8:45 AM - NHPC Allotment Update - Allotment is not available online at this time because of technical issues on registrar's website.

do not give personal info out, just go to karvy website n check!

1 more thing, plz dont just say: "will list at 45" or "will give good returns" without ny evidence! (as in the case of ADANI POWER IPO)

NHPC listing to be arnd 42-43.. Listing needs to be good for the companies which are coming with IPOs.
The logic is simple.If this IPO being a
gov one with strong fundamentals performs below par
or say even at no loss or no profit then the retailers
will lose confidence in other upcoming IPOs and
raising money will become difficult for upcoming companies.
As retailers i will suggest people to remain calm as more than
us the companies which need to raise money they need to be tensed.

Is it karvy site shown NHPC by mistake or trying to make fool of investor

why they out allotment( Time wastage of investor) they have still three more days for it

we can check the status at http://203.199.177.158/ipo/ or http://www.karvy.com/ipostatus/.

But seems the website is not able to handle the rush and is shatterred. When i checked last, they have took NHPC out of the dropdown and only Adani and Mahindra status is available

NHPC IPO - (2625 applied = 749 alloted)

Closing Date - 12th August
Allotment Date - 24th August (13th Day)
Refund Date - 25th August (14th Day)
Listing Date - 1st September (21 days)

IMPORTANT - for all IPOs - as per SEBI Circular - IPO shares will be considered for listing in the Derivatives Segment ONLY AFTER 6 MONTHS of trading in the Cash Segment.

Accordingly, NHPC will NOT get listed in F&O immediately.

FM was on TV - said that Hydropower generation will suffer because of drought.
