I have applied and will keep NHPC shares if allotted. I will also buy more below Rz. 40 and hold the total for long term (10 - 15 years). One can make big money by holding fundamentally sound company stocks for a very long time. By trading stocks one can ggain some, but lose some as well. Nobody can time the market. Nobody can twist a share prie in long run. The sotck will go up only if company continues to make profit, and not becasue somebody is buying it. Happy investing people, go long on good companies.

Dear boarders, who are for and against this IPO, Nobody knows what happens in the market tomorrow. People comment on Adani Power/ Reliance power etc. They are right because Adani was just disappointing where as RPOWER never reached its issue price. But that is surely not because of over priced IPO. Measuring with that scale many issues were over priced. DLF IPO was overpriced at that time.Many days after listing it moved up outperforming index. Consider Alkali Metals issue during a southward movement of indices. There were very few comments in this forum for Alkali Metals. Issue was just subscribed. Most of the people commented that fundamentals are poor. ICRA Ratung was 2. Check what was its listing price and what is the price now. So what matter is timing. If timing is good it will fetch you good gains, else book loss. Decide your own. After all it is your money.

when is the allotment

If everyone says the following X IPO is a big hit after listing that means that ipo is going to merge all it's investors in deep water.
Do opposite of others.

Book partial listing profits i.e. shed some of ur stock's for listing gain's.

Investment in NHPC IPO is equivalent to real estate.Since NHPC generates electricity from water therefore generation is free from inflation.NHPC is inteded to double it's capacity by 2012 and it's profit will become double or triple,it is expected that IPO will goes upto 200 in three years

People are just misusing to this Site. They should know that every site like this has been created for providing useful infortation to others. If you are not aware about that, don't try to create panic with some stupid names.

in case of NHPC IPO, without knowing the fact people writing something. Recently ADANI POWER floated their equities @ 100. In case of NHPC it is only 36. Futher you should know that NHPC Is PSU, having 5175MW Generation, more than 6000 MW under construction & around 5000 in under other stage. How can u compare it with ADANI POWERS.
Those who are serious investers, must keep it for 3-4 years, they will get a good returns. For Serious Inverster im giving you a example.

Don't sell at listinng, but accumulate at lower level
Valuation of NHPC is much better than JP Hydro
Technically & fundamentelly is very strong than JP Hydro/Adani

Hey guys hold your shares in NHPC, do not sell on listing there are FII & QIB waiting to buy these shares at lower levels. Try to create a short fall in the market for this share so that the prices shoots up artificially.

NHPC ko bhechne se pahle apne sare stock sell kar do kyoki isse badiya koi nahi.

Jo NHPC ke bare me galat roumer spread kar rahe hai actully they miss to invest in Issue, so now they can buy at lower level. so vo esa kar rahe hai. At present they have no share in their hand. Dosto inki bato me mat aana. NHPC chahe kitna bhi down ho jaye bechna nhi. agar koi bhi listing day ke din bechega nhi to share automatically upper jayega. agar aapnea panic me becha to it will flop. aapko ese successfully list karvana hai.
IPO ko flop karna aur success karna invester ke haath me hai

within 10 days rate of nhpc will go above jp hydro.it is far far better than jp.which is hovering around 80
