Refund Date - 26th August (15th Day)
Listing Date - 2nd September (21 days)

IMPORTANT - for all IPOs - as per SEBI Circular - IPO shares will be considered for listing in the Derivatives Segment ONLY AFTER 6 MONTHS of trading in the Cash Segment.

Accordingly, NHPC will NOT get listed in F&O immediately.

FM was on TV - said that Hydropower generation will suffer because of drought.

A government panel has set a price band of Rs 950-1,050 per share for Oil India's initial public offering.

The IPO will remain open for subscription from September 7-11.

The company plans to raise up to Rs 2,770 crore via the IPO, while the government will get up to Rs 2,205 crore.

I dont understand why ppl are so crazy to know the exact date and time at which allotment is going to be made public... are you all going to sell it as soon as you get this data?

guys relax a bit.. take it easy..there is still a lot of time before the stock hits the market.

Don't believe rumours spreading about cancellation of IPO.

When Red Herring Prospectus is filed with SEBI, companies cannot suspend / cancel IPO allocation or postpone or cancel listing beyond certain time frame (say 5 - 6 days). Even market is downward freeze, companies have obligation to list.

If Karvy is busy, that is because of huge application / refunds. Even Karvy may be inefficient owing to staff shortage etc.

Nobody knows what happened to NHPC allotment .Some are saying it may be cancelled by govt.
