1— how share allotment happens in SME IPOs like for retail/NII ( Lottery basis )
2 — if proportionate basis in NII , is it better way to apply with more than 1 lot for NII category
3 — lot of time it was observed than for highly subscribed ipos / high GMp Price ipos... Lower circuit hits on listing day ... If I got allotment then what is the best price and what is the best time to sell shares to avoid lower circuit trap ??
Please answer ...
God bless u

1. To understand better the allotment in SME, following post is helpful. https://www.chittorgarh.com/ipo/ipo_discussions.asp?a=1574&c=694065&ap=0
2. Above post will clear that also.
3. That is something everybody is trying to understand. 🙂 Only you can make the assessment.
Any one faces issue to applying asba(netbanking) ipo from bob digital saving (zero balance) account ? when select debit account shaw error - " Account not faound" pls.rply
I have also noticed it in many IPOs. In mainboard IPOs QIBs come only on the last day, but in SME it will be oversubscribed on day1 itself. In case of Kay Cee it was 5 or 6 times on day 1. Looks like it's normal.
It can be the case of high demanding IPOs, as this was not the case in Australian Premium Solar. It did not see QIB subscription of such bumper number on Day 1

SME me jitna QIB ka portion hota hai, utna to QIB vale nasta karte hai.. QIB is not much interested in SME .. Ticket size is very small for them.. but Still few apply.
You can make different combinations; for example 10 lot from one account and 1 each from 2 other accounts. Because more number of lots more chances of allotment. I am not an expert but can have some more inputs from learned members.
My intention was not to give any tips to anyone. I have no capability to do that. Was just sharing my analysis and seeking inputs if anyone has on the same.
I request admin to feel free to delete all my posts.. If I have option to delete it, I would do it myself.

DEAR ADMIN CG What happened, why "newgen consultancy" is banned. Can't find a reason for ban. Please don't ban this type of person. He was quite helpful for us as well as for the forum also
Does anybody have any clue on Chaman Metallics? Sudden breakout today with 20% up circuit, making a new all time high. And there is no recent significant update on NSE. Only thing I could think of was that it is approaching 1 year of listing. Can't be just a coincidence.
@valueseeker, I have been following and holding Chaman Metallics since last year. Some Investor has entered this stock recently, it may be one of the reason for this upswing. however, this stock has shown some inherent strength in the past and remained sideways.

@Manan Surana bhai, I might have missed the notification. Sorry. I don't understand why sometimes tagging doesn't work, as in above post of yours. Do you check bulk deals daily or what?! :-) I missed this news.

Appox subscription 900-1000 times in NII Appox subscription 350 times in retail
Those who apply for 2-3 lots are actually in loss, as their chance of allotment is less than retail applicants.
Therefore, one should apply in NII in this type of IPO if he has atleast 4 lots to apply, else go for 1 lot retail.
Here a four lot application will have a chance of 1.33 times than a retail application, but course block a significantly highr amount of four times than retail.
Those with limited funds should apply retail in both swan and australian.
I recently started applying in IPOs. I applied only as Retail investor one lot. If I want to apply as a High Networth Individual, are there any conditions I need to fulfill? Please guide.
Also does it involve any additional compliances at the time of filing returns?
MVP ji n M Gupta ji, Yes, it is experimented by me in applying multiple lots and the results are negative. I have now decided to apply in Retail Category only hereafter.
@KAMMA SIVA RAMA KRISHNA Sir, few years back you were very enthusiastic about buyback of shares. Now a days no news from you. I wants to purchase one share of Bajaj auto today. Am I eligible for buy back sir. Please reply . Good luck
Biyani ji, Even now I am participating in the Buybacks. But I am not posting my views in this regard regularly as was done earlier. Undoubtedly you will be eligible. But it’s not sure that your one share will be accepted for the buyback. Many factors play a role to decide in this regard. All the best.
I used to maintain my stock portfolio on bseplus website, but it is going to be discontinued from 1st Feb. 2024. Please suggest a free app or website where the stock portfolio can be maintained. Note: Moneycontrol app or website is no longer free. Thanks & Regards, Sandyp
