Applying more than 1 lot in retail caregory where ipo is oversubscribed by 1x is worthless as it is same lottery for all whether you apply 1 or 13. So in your case apply 1 lot from maximum number of demats you can.
Thanks @jay here , But I remember in LIC, got diffrent number of shares for both accounts on applying diffrent number of lots. In lottery, do everyone selected gets only one lot each?

LIC was undersubscribed. Netweb is already oversubscribed. So in this case either you will get 1 or nothing, doesn't matter if you apply 1 lot, 2 lots or 13 lots.

This is the first time I want to apply in sHNI category but I am not getting "change category" option in HDFC. How can I change this? Also if I place application worth for more than 2 lakh in retail, will it be considered in HNI automatically?
