I have seacoast shipping shares.
Recently company announced rights issue.
I have NOT applied for it.
Still some shares(RE) credited in my account, and my holding shares became inactive.
How its possible that without applying/ without my consent RE shares got credited??
What could be the reason? What are my options now in the matter??
I have email my broer for clarification.

That's why I posted query about RE shares credited in my account, and as of Now I even can't sell it on Angel one.

Yes, i agree with the responses. Unless a share is in top 100 of market cap, don't buy that share for buyback purposes. I have burnt my fingers badly earlier in small cap buybacks

i have already replied in that aatmaj page some days back....
Better to hold if no funds issue, booking loss at current levels is not right....in my view it can be added more around 46 levels to average and then 1 lot can be sold around 55-56 levels once it will move up again...company looks strong with current financials and is expected to perform well in future as per expansion plans....some patience is needed here for some months may be but it should bounce back upto 55-56 levels for sure...

I have applied 66 lot in 1 application how many chances to allocate to me

BHNi is subscribed 88 times to SHNI of 73 times.
So how the chances of allotment are higher in BHNI if applied for 67 lots..

@Sleepy For BHNI all applications are for at least 67 lots, but on allottion one gets 14 lots. Hence chances of allotments are more.

Will try to explain with example below

Suppose there are 67 lots available for BHNI category and 5 applications received. Then the subscription is 5x and each application will be allotted ~14 lot i.e. 100% allotment

In this case SHNI will be ~33 lots and if 5 applications with each 14 lots received then subscription will be around 2.5x and only 2 applications will be allotted with 14 lot each ( remaining shares will be distributed equally among this 2 application). Here allotment is 40%

This is my simple understanding and experts can confirm on this.

I have tried to apply in bhni quota in net web IPO through net banking in axis bank . But there was only retail investor category. System was not taking bhni application. So I did not applied in bhni quota. Kindly give me advice that what to do for applying in bhni quota in axis bank through net banking.

I’m having same problem, I have modified limit to 40Lac. Still it is showing only retail optoon

Whether you are applying in Retail, sHNI or bHNI, in Axis Net banking ASBA, you have to select RIIs-Individuals from the dropdown.
