Yes, true.. its better to buy a lottery ticket instead of applying for IPOs. But I think lottery system is not available in India. Do you know any one selling lottery tickets :-)

Is there any upper circuit limitation for this IPO?

Anyone knows how lottery is done.. is it indiviually done from NSDL and CDSL bids or done combined. Let''s say on NSE the retail portion is subscribed 4 times and on BSE it''s subscribed 6 times so will the chances of getting alloted on NSE higher than on BSE ?

Allotment ids done by the Registrars to the IPO after combining all the applications ..... not by the NSE/BSE ....so it makes no difference you apply thru which exchange .... chances of allotment will be the same for all ....!

So it is certain now that chances of allotment for RII-applicants is just about 10% ....!

Depends on the mix of applicants. If everyone applied for a single lot then yes. The chances are 10:1. If everyone applied for 10 lots then the chances are 1:1 for everyone to get a single lot. Hope you got the math.

Egal eye mem, i have applied through hdfc net banking my application still shows as under process... My application has been accepted or not ???

In the case of Music Broadcast Limited ... Subscription required for 1X RII = 1.14L Forms
Whereas, it has received >8L forms thereby it is >7X oversubscribed

In the case of Avenue Supermarts Limited... Subscription required for 1X RII = 4.38L Forms
So, even if it received ~20L forms … it would be ~4.50X oversubscribed
