I just received a BID confirmation email, however, it was sent by BSEINDIA. I usually receive confirmations from NSE and it is only this time that it has been sent via BSE. Anyone else got the same? Why is it so? If I''m going to receive an allotment, will those shares be tradable on BSE only?

Application wise retail in Dmart

Most people are going to get Peanuts for MBL or D-Mart! I think with the increasing awareness about IPO''s, getting an allotment is like finding a needle in the haystack. I believe SEBI should come up with an innovative way of allotments. Most people who applied for higher lots are not going to get even a single lot just due to high % of over subscription.

adding aadhaar number to application form will beneficial already SEBI is using it for KYC.... what will be really benefiting is data mining the PAN details with IT Department . registers can share this data with IT department and find if the PAN number have filed returns and get some info this remove benami application.

Also SEBI should stop 5 application from one account this will also to some extent remove benami application. Also map PAN and bank account so a person in advance should Map is bank account to PAN now all KYC accounts are PAN mapped however majority of bank accounts still do to have a PAN

Sebi''s aim to change allotment in the retail category rule 3 or 4 years back was to benefit larger no of applicants.
Previously those who applied for full(2 lakhs) were sure to get proportionate allotment till retail was oversubscribed 32 times(lot size was around 6500)
It has now become just like trying your luck. Nothing can be done about that, we have to get used to it, even i had objected at that time.
Applying with different pan no''s through different demat a/c''s of family members /associates is perfectly legal....as 85% of applicants in retail category are of one lot... don''t think authorities can do anything or be bothered about that.

I have applied for music Broad7/3). Order status is Executed and amount is blocked.
But on BSE website i cannot see status of my application(http://www.bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx) .
I applied for D-Mart too and i can check the status on above link.
For D-Mart IPO i received the confirmation mail and message from BSE but for Music Broadcast i didn''t received any confirmation mail or message.
Am i checking the status on the correct link?
Does any one facing this problem?

For avenue ipo data has been updated on BSE with in an hour.
Also, i have applied for Music IPO around 11PM(after working hours). So all these things created doubt in my mind.

The chances of allotment under retail category are more in Avenue Supermart (1:4) when compared to Music Broad1:8).
