Please ignore this if you know how to check allocation of IPO in the DP account...
For ICICI direct - After login, go to the Trading - Equity page. Here you will find a tap for Demat Allocation, click on this. On the top right side of the table you will find a tab called "Allocate" click on this. Now in the Stocks coloumn you will see a "NA" written and Total demat balance stocks. This NA is for allocation of any new IPO, as the symbol has not been registered hence it is with NA symbol.

Its now easy to check IPO allocation rather than waiting for the sites of registar's which are always useless and not working on the required moment....

I request others who dont have ICICI direct to check with their DP as they also might be having similar facilty...

I have alloted 15 share inspite of apply 120 share

smita its not like tat those who hav applied below rs.99000 are not alloted shares, the issue got oversubscribed by 16 times in retail category and rs.99000 is covering retail portion 15 times , so they hav been alloted more or less firm [15 shares] those who applied below rs.99000 hav been alloted in proportonate ratio.

Dear All,
I have a doubt.
I & one of my friend applied for the IPO & the mode of refund has been different for both of us.
I have been refunded through ECS (Electronic Clearing System), while my friend has been sent a cheque.

Can anyone tell me why this is so & what is the proceedure for getting refunds through ECS?

hi anadar,
in icicidirect, refunds come directly thru ecs into yr account. generally takes 4-5 days after allotment for the money to be credited.

if i hv not yet rcvd sms frm nsdl about mundra, does it mean i hv not receivd any shares. is it also true that only those who hv applied for 99000/ hv got 1 lot- 15 shares. who applied with less havent been alloted. pls let me know.

For ICICIDirect customers, do we get the refund in Cheque
