You are not correct in the interpretation.
If an employee is applying for upto Rs one lakh he can apply with 'cut off' under the bid amount.If he is applying for more than Rs 1 lakh he will bid with a price which could be Rs 440.He will still get allotment as he is not coming under retail category but an employee.If the employee quota is oversubscribed 1.5 times they will end up getting the inverse of 1.5 times the shares they bid for.SO you will not get anything from the leftover of employee quota.Bad luck.

i have applied for mundra ipo online through icicidirect.com . now my postal address is supposed to change within 15 days as i am transferred from my current location in surat. will online application be refunded through ecs or will it be send through post . then what if the refund cheque gets missed.

it all depends on details given in demat account. DO YOU KNOW that all dp details , your name, qty applied are essentials in the form. All other details (including signature in form) are useless. BECAUSE they use the informations provided in DEMAT account.

Intime folks have confirmed though their helpline that similar to central bank of india, Mundra refund will happen thru post and not through ECS
