​@DreamBig You have started the journey of this Forum with a very very difficult question. First of all, Welcome.
It is not at all possible for me to tell you about the decision to sell a stock. There are different circumstances when one sells the stock. I am a long term and sometimes very long-term investor. Sometimes I sell on listing also. I have to decide the quality of stock. Group, Promoters, Sector, Financials and many more. Being a small investor, some times I need funds and sell some shares on merit. But the decision taken is not always in line. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. We get according to our LUCK only.
I am giving one example of Tata Elexi. I was allotted 100 shares at 10. I sold it at 60. This is long back history. Now Tata Elexi is a history. I did not sell some one and now no value. It happens.
In Share Market it is difficult to sell at highest level and buy at lowest level. Never regret but try to learn. Time will automatically teach you every thing of Share Market. Keep investing with care and your financial appetite. Always take your own decision and never blame others. Never compromise.

I think what PKRAJ sir has said is right ✅️

I personally keep a price or time target
And when that price is achieved I exit the stock on a bounce , Fir wo stock 10× bhi ho gaya mujhe koi parvah nahi

But Yes , The target should be out of a fundamental reason or Valuation Comfort

Aur 800 ka target rakhunga
