Visuality Impaired (side effects of tb medicine) (ethambutol).
Was suffering from tb from feb 22, have side effects from july 22, continously increasing till September 22.

In allopathy there is no treatment for the same.
Yesterday admitted in ayurveda hospital.

They will do some therapy.

Using phone in dark mode.

Mazak nhi uda rha bhai. CA by profession, last year got a package of 12L from campus placement, but unable to join the company due to visibility problem. I am the sole earner of family after father death in 2019.

and have able to do job for just 2 months in last 14 months.

so, in sbort mera khud ka mazak bana hua hai.

Very sorry to read about your ill health. Not to say more about your treatment in this case. You are highly educated young boy and you know what to do in these circumstances. As you are only earning member in your family, you are required to recover as early as possible.

Just wish to say there are TB treatments available in Allopathy .. off course some very strong medicines with side effects, but they all can be taken care later, first objective is to cure TB first and fully. One of my family member cured from TB by Allopathy a long back.

TB is already cured from allopathy. But results in side effects on eyes, which doesn't have treatment in allopathy.

TB is much better issue than this side effects, atleast it hss a treatment.

if i have an option to live with tb or this side effects. I prefer to live with tb.

I am sharing real life case with you, one of my relative got effected with blur vision in one eye, unable to see clearly so went to the doctor (a team of eye specialists - father, son and daughter - very knowledgeable and renowned). They checked the eyes thoroughly and recommended some blood tests and Mantoux test (TB skin test). MANTOUX test came positive and Doctors reached to the conclusion that TB infection has reached to the eyes and thus resulted in vision problem. They gave eye gels etc and recommended a TB specialist and under supervision of eye specialists the tb course medicine done, along with few medicines from eye doctor too. After few months the vision came back and eye specialist withdrew it's medicines systematically and allowed TB doctor to run usual medicine course and now the course is in completion mode, successfully. By the grace of God everything went well.

I have no knowledge about your case but shared the real case here. If you want to know more, you can reply here and I will share whatever possible.

The eyes gels and some medicines were run along with medicines of TB. Since TB medicines damage the (affected) eye, as we know that allopathy medicines leads to dehydration and contraction complication (if eyes are the affected victim),, so all medicines of TB doctor were ran in supervision of Eye specialists. Once they fully got satisfied with improvement in eye vision they withdrew the medicines slowly and directed to do the same in TB medicines (some high power medicine and one or two steroids). Everything was managed very professionally.
I don't know in your case if they gave you immuno suppresant steroids so that medicines can do their job properly without the interferences of immune system.

In between the eye specialists will check the progress of (affected) eye so as to determine if everything is going as planned.

The course is in completion mode with only complain is - body/joint/back pain (not regular). That too is being looked after.

I can't share photo of prescriptions here since my user id is not eligible to do so now.

No steroids are given to me by anyone.
steroids were helpful only if its given in starting phase.

so that is not practicable now.

Brother, have you cource for RCINEX medicine? I known few who took this medicine for 6-1.5 years and cure fully.

It is unfortunate that you had the complications of Ethambutol. Ethambutol does have a notorious side effect of causing Optic Neuritis in some patients. Other TB drugs can also harm different organs n Isoniazid can also cause complications in eye. This is why it is recommended to monitor organs such as liver n eye routinely when on Anti TB drugs. Unfortunately in your case optic Neuritis seems to have been missed in the initial phase. And yes it doesn't have any specific treatment other than trying initial short burst steroids or Vit B12 and pyridoxine. But usually this is reversible and the eye does regain most of the vision over a period of many months after stoppage of Ethambutol. Only in rare cases the loss of visual acuity is permanent. I am sure you would recover over a period of time. No eye gels or drops are going to cure the disease but they can give some soothing effect. So better don't run hither thither for any kind of wonder drug. There aren't any. I am sure your eye specialist must be routinely monitoring your progress with OCT n other tests. Just have faith in him and discuss the course with him. God willing, you will surely recover completely.
