looking at the muted response from QUIBs and not very promising names in the anchor investors list, there will not be any appetite from institutional investors on listing....though the issue will be subscribed 4-5 times thanks to retail participation, even reasonable premium on listing is doubtful

16.29 Lacs shares at 645 for total of 105.12 crores issued to anchor lnvestors including DBInternational,Tata mutual fund,Birla Private Euity Fund and Birla Mutual Fund.
COURTESY : mONEY CONTROL WEBSITE Monte Carlo Fashions, which is coming out its initial share sale Wednesday, has mopped up Rs 105 crore from anchor investors. The company has allotted more than 16.29 lakh shares to anchor investors at the price of Rs 645 apiece. This translates to little over Rs 105 crore. Aditya Birla Private Equity Trust, DB International (Asia) and Birla Sunlife Trustee Company Pvt Ltd are among the anchor investors, according to a filing by the company to the National Stock Exchange. Through the IPO, which would be open from December 3-5, Monte Carlo plans to raise about Rs 350 crore. The price band has been fixed at Rs 630-645. The company would be offering 54,33,016 equity shares of through an offer for sale by selling shareholders promoters group and private equity firm Samara Capital. The offer constitutes 25 per cent of the post offer paid-up equity share capital of the company
A high profile Employee of a Big Brokerage hotold me that Big Brokers are accumulating the share at low prices to get bumper returns post listing. This is also evident from past few listings that they show very low prices before IPO and after IPO closing prices start soaring.
Bolo tara ra ra''s - IPO Comments, Public Profile This is a reasonable issue. Grey market in Jaipur quoting as under:
1. Confirm Share Rs. 140-145 2. Subject to Allotment share 125-130 3. KOSTAK (Minimum app.) with Broker''''s form Rs. 975/- 4. KOSTAK (Minimum app.) without Broker''''s form Rs. 925/-
Return seems reasonable and one should apply in maximum number of accounts by using multiple family accounts.
A return of Rs. 850/- (After deducting selling brokerage, Demat Expenses etc) is very handsome considering the fact that total Investment is less than rs. 15000/-.
If the share prices rise the profit may even increase from current levels.
