Got in 3 lots.Sold today whatever was earned in 2014 early, lost. So as people say sum total in shares is Zero or Negative.

Why did you apply without analyzing it yourself? @25 PE it didn''t look expensive to you? Being in branded textile but having presence in remotest part of the country & promoters not so investors friendly. If you gamble the result will be like that. I don''t want to brag but all the IPO I have ever subscribed gave me profit.

on hind-sight we can give all kind of explanation ... every IPO which comes up is initially hyped as expensive - high PE.

But how can one ignore these numbers - subscribed more than 7 times in Retail and 13 times by FII.

I think it just did not work out. Keep positive for other IPOs

Monte Carlo is a good example how can we be fooled around easily. Its usually good to sell your application in Grey Market in sit silent on IPO which you are not sure of. Recommendations from Brokering houses are managed by promoters. Grey markets too manipulated. Fundamentals are usually overlooked by retail investors. Identify people who really thinks alike you and act on their opinion instead of general market opinion. Lets be careful next time. Thank god I was saved by luck this time.

Not comparable brands... Monte Carlo is mostly a woolen brand which makes it a more cyclic stock... anyway all other stocks are over-valued too. Additionally, other brands have stronger management, unlike greedy Monte Carlo promoter.... look at their other listed entities.

About 90% IPO/fpos are trading in discount but retailers are subscribed all IPO/fpos hugely.

I HAVE TOLD EARLIER MONTE CARLO IS NOT WORTH 250 RS STOCK.
IT WILL KEEP CRASHING. THOSE WHO HOLD THIS STOCK.GET OUT OF IT IMMEDIATELY AND INSTEAD BUY MOMAI APPARELS.

1)MOMAI APPAREL MANAGEMENT IS GREAT AND ALWAYS REWARDED INVESTORS.

3)MOMAI APPARELS HAVE GROWTH OF MORE THAN 200% EACH YEAR. MONTE CARLO HAS NOT GROWN AT ALL IN LAST 3 YEARS.
