Hi GuruPrasad, The allotment for applied 45 shares is rare. As the subscription is more than 100 times, the allotment would be made for people who have bid atleast for 60K(Wild Guess).
hey friends i hav put for MINDTREE IPO..Only 45 shares i hav bid for at 425 .. can any one approximately tell me how many shares allotment can i get..??
Hi Anurag, The question was how to see the retail subscription dynamically as & when it happens i.e, on the last day of the issue closes, How do see the retail part of the subscription & not the total subscription? If you note that the article has been written on 2007-02-14 at 21:29:17 i.e, after the issue is closed.

There are limited number of clients in India for MindTree(bellow 5% revenues form India). since foreign clients should not apply under this quota the quota is undersubscribed. Here the Ultimately Employees are benefited.
As per the application form business associate reserved shares that were not subscribed will be added to Employee Reservation first and it will stop there as there is enough demand in the employee section.
"Under-subscription, if any, in the Business Associate Reservation Portion or the Employee Reservation Portion will be first added to Employee Reservation Portion or the Business Associate Reservation Portion, as the case may be, and after such inter-se adjustment shall be added back to the Net Issue to the Public, and the ratio amongst the investor categories will be at the discretion of the Company, and the BRLMs."
I am surprised...Reserved allotment according to NSE website for Business associates was 279000, almost 70% of retail...that did not get alloted at all at cut off price(only 1560 shares)....wonder how they allot that and why associates and partners themselves did not go for mindtree...
In the retail category, approximately 50% of Rs.1 lakh applications will get 15 shares. For those who applied for a single lot, one lucky guy out of 30 will get the same 15 shares.
