Why wait till allotment date when it has been made clear about the allotment process (even discussed by many board members and confirmed by admin that it is proportional basis).
At present subscription figures of HNI, anyone bidding for above 16 lots will get at least one confirmed lot (can be more too). Below that it will be lottery (but some one with 15 lots has better chance that someone with 1 lot)
The over subscription ratio is then applied to the number of shares applied for and the number of shares to be allotted for applicants in each of the buckets is determined. Then, the number of successful allottees is determined. This process is followed in case of proportionate allotment.
Allotment rule for DRHP of Mindspace:
Further, not less than 25% of the Offer (excluding the Strategic Investor Portion) shall be available for allocation on a proportionate basis to Non-Institutional Investors, in accordance with the REIT Regulations and the SEBI Guidelines, subject to valid Bids being received at or above the Offer Price.
Equal opportunity in the lots bucket not in different lot buckets. Someone having applied higher lots has MORE CHANCE to get one lot than someone with less lots. If you apply 1 lot and if I apply for 15 lots both of us might get, not get, you may get or I may get (end result), but the probability of I getting is more than you getting it. This is how HNI allotment happens as far as I have been explained (and validated) on this very forum.
Stupidity and incompetence probably. They would have hard coded the system not to accept more than 2L application amount (which is 3 lots in this case). I had faced the same issue in IndusInd bank wherein the system didn't allow for more than 2L application in Individual category in SBI cards (turned out to be lucky for me). But now I think they fixed it.
Open bank account with SBI. SBI has one of most reliable ASBA netbanking facility. I have seen it down only once over last 10 years at the time of Ujjivan Financial Services IPO.
Better to open with HDFC if you want to take advantage of late applications (one can apply till 5PM on last day, in SBI only till 2 PM). They have a reliable ASBA system too but no third party IPO applications.

If u r accepted cut off price, . Limit up to 2Lac only
If u r mentioned price 275 or 274 ( no cut off price) , unlimited
My Situation: Can't apply for 5 or 20 lots due to lack of money. Even if I arrange the amount, can't hold for long time. There seems problem of liquidity which is inherent to real estate. Also long term return is comparable to bonds and not stocks. So it has risk of stock and return of bonds. Short term listing gain 5-10% may be there. But I am not appling in IPO for 10% gain. For that there is secondary market. Conclusion: I am not applying, just like I didn't apply for yes bank.

Most of money will come back if you dont get full allotment. You apply on basis of likelyhood of allotment based on subscription pattern. Holding later is your call. You may exit within 10 days of listing too
They accept online application upto 2 P.M. on any day including last day, for same day uploading. If applied after 2 pm any day except last day, they upload/ transfer application next day morning.
Look at the Subscription and everyone was saying there is recession, Covid, WFH which will affect Real Estate and this REIT. Market is real boss, most of the time, these IPO reviewers and experts don't get the Market mood correctly and end up on the wrong side.
Sure you are right, but you should also accept the fact that list CAN be in discount even after big subscription figures.
Anyway with such high sub figures in HNI category it would need minimum 8-10L to get one confirmed lot. Most retailers would just stay away even if they wanted to participate (main reason why they have kept such huge lot size)
The figures were a real surprise, expected 4-5x, so distributed 5 and 6 lots in 2 accounts, better would have have applied from 1 account. Anyways, will buy on listing planning to hold for real long time. Good opportunity to diversify in something better than bonds and deposits, returns will grow y-o-y and most of it will be tax free.

Am expecting listing gains of approx 10% and NII quota getting subscribed 20X upwards For people applying 1 lot the probability of getting an allotment via lottery will be 5%
If NII is 10X probability is 10% for single lot applications

Applied 20 lots via 9 accounts in various combinations. Not sure if it was the right move. Missed applying few more lots due to off time
Expecting a decent listing. Was bullish on this counter right from beginning.
