IPO of Leading Kerala-based jewellery retail firm Kalyan Jewellers backed by private equity giant Warburg Pincus is likely to arrive in 4th Quarter of 2020-21.
@iponoob sebi doesn't want to completely block retail subscriber but only have increased threshold. And that is already there by reducing it from 35% . But let's see on 6 the August. My point is if their is no demarcation then why such thing like a retail can apply maximum three lots.
One of my sense say that all retail application will get one minimum lot . How. Let me tell you that there are 50000 application. My sense say that non institutional portion will get divided into hni and retail portion of 15% and 10% respectively. Now this 10% is over 300 crores and if we divide minimum value 55000rs with maximum application 50000 it's value is less than 300 crores, so minimum lot to every retailer.
@bansalvijay where did you get all that imaginary info about 15% and 10%? SEBI wants to stop retail from participating in Invits and REITs blindly so they high entry money (still not a mature product for retail to enter as per SEBI). It was still higher in previous REITs and Invits which has been reduced for this REIT issue. There is nothing as retail. Institutional and non-institutional only.

applied in 34+4+4 lots. so sure to get 2 plus whatever luck gives me extra. was expecting over subscription of 8 times but this went double, so expecting some good profits on listing.
While the IPO got good response those who look at gmp and huge listing gains etc have definetly not understood this product in the first plc.
Its is a product which falls between debt and Equity. So comparing it with either asset class is flawed. You need to compare at best with peer REIT/INVIT or with a real estate investment that you own.
People need to read and understand things first before posting messages here. As lot of people use this information for serious stuff. I can bet many dont even know how the REIT is structured and what are the risks and rewards of current issue
many experienced people dont understand the stock market business but still give knowledge. any debt instrument giving 7-8% tax free returns must quote at a high price so that the net yield comes to market rate of below 5%. you cant expect to get a high taxfree yield by simply buying from market. that explains why there was 16X oversubscription. and check the yearly high rate of embassy.
As per my understanding. Embassy if trading at 4% discount to its NAV of Rs. 372 Mindspace is offered at 16% discount to its NAV of Rs. 320. Considering Mindspace will try to catch up with its listed peer, it has a potential to stablize between Rs. 310-320 post listing. On listing day it might go upto Rs.330 also depending upon market conditions.
Positive point for Mindspace is that it has collected rents for last few months (this is what i read in news) and due to social distancing, now 30% staff also requires to utilise 100% office space to maintain distance. So all news of 100% WFH and companies cutting on rented area are mere hypothetical analysis.
After closure of IPO, people start giving positive comments. Without knowing anything, it will be better not to write and confuse others Unless you have right information or knowledge. Better luck next time to all including me

The REIT will certainly prove to be a best Investment opportunity going forward. The yield will be 7.5% and upwards which is more than Bank FDs. + unit price appreciation. Most of The Trust's properties are located in Hyderabad. The lease rentals in Hyderabad are the lowest now which can only go up hence good prospects for the Trust. If Nifty continue to trade above 11k by the time of listing i.e,12.08.20, the Units will certainly give handsome listing gains of 25% and above.
I don't know the exact probability but it is not zero for sure. The more the no of lots, more the chance of getting at least one lot. Person with 3 lots will have more chance of getting one lot than the person who has applied for 1 lot.

You have a chance of 20% allotment against 7% of one lot applicant.

You should expect some allotment out of 13 and 14; even though subscription is 15.5
My expectation is people with greater than 10 lots application will get 1 at least (may be 2). And some people with 5 lots application will also get. Tough luck for those below 5.

No. 15 lots or below it will be lottery...16 and above confirm allotment.
