For people who have applied online through Indiabulls, you would not have got refund yet because your money has not been passed on to the Emaar-MGF IPO account. It is lying with Indiabulls and generating Interest for them. Indiabulls will hide this information from you and show you a dummy application number when you login to your Indiabulls account and check the status. The dummy application number will not be found in the records of the registrar. Don't blame Karvy or Emaar-MGF as they are innocent in this regard. Your money is still with Indiabulls and they will refund at their leisure without any interest. They don't care if you want to use that money for other IPO's or anything else.

I have applied for Emaar IPO and for which , I have still not received the refunds. pls guide.

My application number for applying in Emmar MGF is 18220429. I applied through ICICI Direct and still have not received the refund. Amount debited from my account is 50400 , do let me know when i get this back.

I have applied online through Indiabulls (application number 11270014). I have not received refund and Karvy says that they have not received the application or the money. I am sure that Indiabulls has taken the money from my account but they did not pay the same for the IPO. Their plan was to take it instantly from online IPO applicants and then issue a cheque or DD to the IPO on the last day of IPO so that till the time the IPO registrars take the money from Indiabulls account, they can enjoy the interest.
However, I think in my case they have made a mistake and hence goofed up the application and they check or pay order was not issued to Emaar-MGF IPO. Therefore the money got held up with Indiabulls. I sent an Email to Indiabulls 5 days back and they did not reply yet. I called up their customer care by making an STD call and asked them about replying to my email. They said they received the email and they need 48 more hours to respond. Regarding the refund they said they need time to check why the application was not passed and they will call back. But, ofcourse they did not call.

I have applied for Emaar MGF , but till the date i have not got refund , but my friend got. why ?? anybody know. and where to call for enquiry.

i have not got emaar ipo refund .karvy is telling that my application is not traceable.so please check and let me know where is the problem.

fnally i got the refund today in my icici account.

KINDLY SEND AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE

I HAD PAID Rs. 94500/.& APPLICATION NO. IS 18207329 DATED 04/02/2008 BUTI NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY RETURN .KINDLY SEND MY REFUND .

finally i got the refund today in my sbbj account.

I have not received my refund of Rs.18900/- till date. My application no. is 14765575,had apply for 30 shares.

ok, i got the refund. The mystery is that an ECS means electronic credit, which should be instantaneous. What does the money do in the banks coffers for 3-5 days. I Presume it works hard on generating interest for the bank. I wonder if there are any laws on the number of days a bank can with-hold money!!

i haven't recieved refund of emaar mgf ipo yet. my cheque was cleared on 22/01/2008.i dont know why the company and Registrar has taken to much time.i dont know where to complaint.
