Rural Electrification Corporation (REC), one of the leading public financial institutions in Indian power infrastructure, proposes to enter the capital markets on February 19, 2008 with a public issue of 156,120,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each through 100% book building process.

The issue comprises a fresh issue of up to 78,060,000 equity shares by REC and an offer for sale of up to 78,060,000 equity shares by the President of India acting through the Ministry of Power. The net issue to the public will be up to 152,217,000 equity shares, after allowing for reservation of up to 3,903,000 equity shares for subscription by eligible employees as defined in the Red Herring Prospectus.

Now is this not viable to invest in MGF,but it is a very good portfolio for long term.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE THIS DESPERATE! EMAAR HAS LOWERED THE PRCE BAND TWICE AND EXTENDED THE IPO CLOSING DATE BY 5 DAYS! WHAT DESPERADOS.

THIS ITSELF IS PROOF THAT THE COMPANY IS A POOR PERFORMER AND DOESNT DESERVE THE INDIAN PEOPLE'S ATTENTION. THEY ARE PROBABLY STILL LOOKING FOR FOOLS OVER THE NEXT 5 DAYS.

After the poor response to EMAAR issue, which was rated vary high, I think that all new IPO will start coming at reasonable prices and then after about one month the investors will again start getting good returns. Further all depends upon listing of Rel Power. Keep waiting.

emmar mgf listing at 580 , bcoz it will be alloted at 530{lower price bnd}, so dere is still a profit of rs 50 per share

em mgf,wokhart, hopp,empee, are criminals of stock market,they should be kicked out of the market

This is a good fact that land reserves is more than DLF, but they have not capitalisez it yet.

Even if one likes this clause of having a huge land reserve, we are quite sure of this stock being available at discount after listing.

ICICI DIRECT always is pricing their issues at hig prices. My friend is locked in House of pearls from ipo time. The issue of 550 is now trading at 200. THINK ABOUT THIS.

A company having an eps of 5 ruppes a year is issuing shares at 600 (HOP). After that my friend is having a close look at ICICI Being a leading manager of any ipo. Unfortunately ICICI is also my friends broker.

You cant cancel the IPO application if applied online. I applied yde night and my bank accnt got debited today afternoon immediately.
