I have applied for 50 shares and will be happy if alloted. We had high expections for Reliance Power but what will be the outcome. I think Emaar will not dishearten like RP.
367 Ram If you have excess funds please preserve it. Tomorrow market will touch 16000+ levels. You can invest in DLF. Today (so far) US markets are down, this will be followed by Asian Markets tomorrow including indian markets.
Is it worth to invest in Emaar MGF ? Because only institutions have put money and they won't sell it at a loss. There is a chance of listing gains by market making. There is assured allotment. One can try.
highly overpriced avoid at all cost if u want to invest in infrastructure, put money in dlf,gmr infra, unitect available at atractive prices market is extremely volatile may go down further avoid all high priced ipos
@ JOHN if you have placed an offline application, dishonour your cheque. if you have placed an online application, call the registrars and ask them to disregard you application.
As the registrar is karvy, you might not face much problem cancelling it..
dont apply,,, This ipo is very expensive. These days our markets are decided by fii's and trend in american market, so as american market is falling, fii's are following some precaution, and are bringing down our market to its fundamentals.
But EMMAR is nowhere near its fundamentals. its PE ratio to offer price is around 10 times more than that of DLF's as of today.. COULD YOU BELIEVE IT.. :O
Even projecting one year in forward its offer price to PE ratio will be as much as twice that of DLF's ratio.. so, investors be cautious of such ipos
I just read that Wockhardt IPO has been withdrawn but I don't see the news reflecting anywhere in major web-sites like economictimes.com etc. Is this news really true, not that it comes as any surprise but still... I wanted to be sure.
Lessons Learnt by Emaar MGF: 1.Do not be too greedy (Very Very aggressive pricing- no takers) 2.Do not assume that investors are fools (They think better) 3.Do not take investors for granted (They are smarter than u) 4.Do not make miscalculations (RPL refund will be invested??) 5.Do not ask for one time payment for such a big issue (Learn from Reliance) Chittorgarh thanks for giving me an oppotunity to ventilate.
