Here is the solution for withdrawing the application I got from EmaarMGF.

"For the purpose of cancellation of the bid, you are requested to send the duly signed withdrawal application letter. In case of joint application, the same should be signed by all the joint holders.

Kindly arrange to send the scan copy of the same to murali@karvy.com & ipo@emaarmgf.comor fax the same to 040-23431551, with attention to Mr. M.Muralikrishna, Karvy Computershare Private Limited"

The simplest solution for those who want to revoke their applications is to apply again from the same demat no. for minimum lot. This way both the applicaions will be rejected.

Is it possible to modify the order once it is placed? I have applied at higher band price of 630/-.. want to alter or revoke? I m having icicidirect.com... if possible, how?

The subscription figures 0.83times is misleading bcos many of them are putting stop payment to the subscription. Emaar is also going to the casualty ward like wockhardt. Probably wockhardt will provide free service to Emaar.
People can look at buying Unitech / DLF which is quoting below the Net asset value.

Once u apply for any IPO then u cant cancel your application in icicidirect. I also use icicidirect.

In icicidirect customer care they are saying that once you applied,can't be cacelled and if you will apply again then both the application will be rejected as from one demat you can apply once.

I deleted the order through Kotak yesterday, but got a message
saying that i will get refund only at the time of allotment.

This is rediculious. . . .the ipo is still open and they are saying that the refund wil be only after allotment date. . .!
