At a maximum valuation of 39 P/E based on FY23 Earnings and 50 P/E based on TTM Earnings, the company could be considered to be priced at a premium. However, the earnings are depressed due to short-term non-recurring expenses which have increased considerably in H1FY24. Moreover, an increase in operating leverage accompanied by the 20% plus growth of the industry coupled with market share gains make it attractive given that the company has a history of high cash flow conversion with very low capital expenditure requirements. Furthermore, the company dominates the industry’s profit pool, which shows a strong competitive advantage. These factors make it for subscribing to the IPO only for long term.

Lagata hai IPO market ko najar lag gayi. Such a good company with reasonable valuation and good future prospects does not have command in GMP. Mankind jaisa is saal bhi koi IPO chahiye jo mood thik kare.

@Mr. Singh Sir ji take it positive, if it's good company you have opportunity to buy it post listing, anyhow allotment probability is getting difficult day by day. 🙏

@Basuvr I will probably apply FF if QIB subscription is good. But I usually do not buy post listing. If I get allotment and listing is not good then I may hold for an year.
@Mr. Singh Yes. I also apply in IPOs and don't sell good shares on listing and keep some for long. Whenever I get sHNI allotment, generally I sell 50% on listing and enjoy listing gains. Due to limited funds profit booking is also required. But some good shares as per my knowledge, such as Syrma, Medanta, RR Kabel which I got sHNI allotments, still holding 50% or so. I never buy on listing except a small quantity of Data Pattern @800. Enjoying holding. Have a nice time.
@newgen consultancy & other experts Any idea if we apply in New Swan Multitech SME IPO (whose Initiation of refund date is mentioned as 17th Jan), can we get refund on 17th Jan afternoon or before so that we can apply in Medi Assist? Im planning to apply in HNI in New Swan & bHNI in Medi Assist if I get timely refund from Bigshare (Registrar of New Swan Multitech) ? Thanks in advance.

The company is good into fundamentals as the company is generating free cash flows every year. But there are some fundamental questions which we need to answer: 1. Post IPO PE Ratio of 64. 2. Full OFS 3. Why these Anchor investors such as HDFC, Goldman Sachs, SBI LIFE, Aditya Birla etc not considering the fundamentals of company. Are they investing for listing pop? 4. If we give 25% annual growth then FY 2024-25 PE Ratio comes to 48 which is also very high. 5. If Insurance company do away services of TPA then this company will close? 6. Expected Net profit for FY 2023-24 is 90 Crores and IPO is coming for more than 1000 Crores. for which only 22% promoter stake is reduced. I have decided that I will sell in grey market if possible and then go for IPO otherwise not. If any other member has other view then welcome. If the company list at premium of 100 then pe ratio comes at 79. Who wants to buy the companies at these valuation when ICICI Lombard available at pe of 36, New india available at 37 pe(As per google)

Would like to give some reasons for your valid observations. 3. Anchor investors have lockin so they are certainly not in for listing gains. Usually from what i have heard is,these fund houses have to subscribe some ipos irrespective of how good/bad it is. Merchant bankers sell ipo's as a bunch to them. ( dont quote me on this, cant remember where i read this ) 5. Yes, correct. Insurance company can do inhouse management, most of them do in case of retail policies. But reading rhp it seems that for group/corporate policies its something different hence TPA. Mediassist has some 26% premium under management of.whole group policies in india.
More on this after reading rhp again

@ruralurban many of your points are PE related. I'm not sure how you've calculated it, but the current year PAT is ~45 Cr, and simple extrapolation of ~90 Cr for FY'24 suggests a post-IPO PE of 32, which is more likely closer to 28-30 accounting for additional growth in H2.
Earlier the PAT was posted as ~23 Cr I think, but that includes an exceptional one-time ESOP cost of ~21 Cr.
1. My analysis regarding pe ratio may be incorrect as i have checked from chittorgarh website and not from rhp. but this company is coming at a time 1000 crores full ofs. 2. If it is compulsary for mutual funds to subscribe for all ipo then why they are managing public funds? 3. Many company brings their ipo as fully ofs but if we are applying with 2 lakh and 10 lakh of amount then we should be more careful this times. As who will hold our hands in case of some wrong happens. 4. Current ipo of jyoti cnc is also coming at 500 pe and trailing 300 pe as per news channels.

Market cap is 2875 crore aprox and IPO (ofs) size is 1171 crore. For such small cap liquidity is high. That could be reason for low GMP and may not give very high return post listing. But business model is unique (in listed share) and leader in some category in its segment. So company is good. I think it will give average listing and not much fluctuation post listing.

Very strange.
No GMP buyer at all.
In Jyoti, there was and there is a GMP buyer (whatever be the rate). Even today, there is buyer @49/- jyoti. Medi GMP is on the website only, no real buyer at all.
