I am no Expert but i can answer your doubts here
1) for maximum chance for allotment, you need to apply from Different Pan Cards/Demat(Some banks like INDUSIND,AXIS,SBI etc allows third party applications)
2) For oversubscribed IPOs if you apply for either 1 lot or 13 lot in a single pan both gets counted as one, so its better to apply in 13 different accounts than applying 13 lots in one DP/Pan ID
3) I think its always better to use ASBA feature(from net banking) to apply for IPOs as third party applications gets rejected if you do the payment via UPI ID
4) You can change category through ASBA feature quite easily(i am not sure with GPAY method), and you need min 2 lakhs to do HNI applications
5) i am not sure about that, but for me AXIS bank is faster for me compared to others

@haran: In retail, only 1 lot we need to apply but still i know many retailers somewhere in their inner heart still thinks that applying for more lots in retail may increase their chances :) But when any ipo is subscribed more than 1 times application wise in retail, then everyone will be allotted only 1 lot max by lottery, either you apply 1 lot or 3 lot or 5 lot or 13 lots. So always apply only 1 lot in retail in any good ipo without having any doubt in that. I am also not getting allotted bhai, in retail in any good ipo from long time :( its all about luck.

And Changing lot size don''t affect your chances. Neither applying in UPI/ASBA mode has any impact on allotment chances. Kotak bank/icici bank/RBL bank unblocks faster usually. Remaining it depends and can vary in each ipo.

Nope.. We don''t get mail from BSE or SMS from NSE for all IPOs. Sometimes, they don''t come. If you are lien is marked successfully, then the application is also successfully submitted.

Already received mail on 10 dec night of bse bid placed.by sbi asba

@always lucky.. Maybe but i have seen that most of the time BSE sends the mail when you apply via ASBA. @Cautious Proprio..good. but i applied yesterday and amount is in lien too. But no mail from BSE this time.

Sometimes due to heavy traffic of transactions it happens that email doesn''t come, but there is nothing to worry about. Since your bid is already placed and fund is blocked against it - successfully.

Any comment inquiring about buybacks or secondry market or any remark which is insulting to anyone must be blocked. Person who added that should be suspended without notice for 2 Weeks, if he does same thing again he should be blocked from site permanently.
Creation of HNI threads is also unwanted thing. But whatever you feel act firmly.

Somewhere, in this platform showed... Third party upi mandate not valid... Please guide correctly

As per sebi rules, both third party ABSA and third party UPI applications are LIABLE to be rejected (as the word "liable" says, it can be rejected or it may not be, depends on registrar now, not a strict rule) but normally in linkintime/kfintech both these UPI/ABSA third party applications , they are accepting and allotment is also happening. But some small registrars are rejecting applications which are third party ASBA applications too.

According to SEBI, third party applications are liable to be rejected.

Sentence is vague here. They may be rejected for some ipos!

Is it correct? Experts?

It depends on registrars as well.

I have got allotments in ASBA for friends and family Demat accounts in both the LinkInTime and Kfintech registrars whereas I have got allotments only in Kfintech for UPI mandates done with my SB account for FnF demat Accounts. (I may be wrong.) But I don''t have an allotment to show that I have got allotment when 3rd party UPI mandate is done.

Its better, try to avoid applying 3rd party IPO applications with your UPI ID. I may be completely wrong. But, my past experience shows, using UPI mandates for 3rd party IPO applications, I have not got any allocation even in undersubscribed IPOs. Interestingly, this observation differs by registrar.

Vijaya Diagnostic - Kfintech - Undersubscribed (1.09X) - I have got 5/6 allotments for 3rd party UPI mandates.
Nuvoco - LinkinTime - Undersubscribed (0.73X) - I have got only 1/6 allotments for 3rd party UPI mandates.

I may be completely wrong. In the above 2 IPOs, I have used single UPI id for all the applications.
After these IPOs, realizing the ZERO allotments for Undersubscribed (0.73X) Nuvoco IPO, I started using different UPI IDs for UPI mandates. But, didn''''t have any allotment.

So, by my experience, I have got allotments Ami (2/10) when applied through ASBA & Nykaa (2/14) when applied through ASBA but not a single IPO to show when 3rd party IPO applications are made through UPI mandates. (Here, I refer to My UPI IDs linked with my bank accounts for applying IPO from my family & friends GROWW accounts.)

Always luck is right i think. i did not get third party upi allotment in tega. i applied today 8 application third party upi. big mistake. next time avoid third party upi.

Means they are allocating also with third party upi but how is it possible that allotment happening in 1 applications with third party but not happening in other 5 application, atleast same rule should be followed in all applications in single ipo. This is strange.

I could have been more clear. The 1/6 allotment by LinkInTime registrar is mine. All other FnF IPO applications are rejected as I have used my UPI id for them as well.

UPI IDs are a straightforward and basic way to check the name of the account holder these days. May be the registrar checks in case of 3rd party UPI, I assume.

I was reiterating the same message in many threads to know if someone has got allotments by LinkInTime registrar for 3rd party IPO applications.

So kfintech accepted 3rd party UPI mandate but linkintime rejected. its good to share information. Thanks. I have seen people saying they got allotted in linkintime too in third party upi applications. Lets see going forward.

Anyways again i will reiterate my point for everyone that its always better not to use third party UPI as much as possible in any ipo, you never know when and where they will reject. Why to take chance.

I have personally got allotments via third party upi from both the registrars kfintech and linkintime.
My allotments till date (almost all via third party upi only, have received only cams and Gland pharma allotment on my personal account)

6) GR infra (2 lots on 2 different accounts both 3rd party upi)
7) Cartrade
8) GLS
9) Nykaa (3 lots, all 3 third party upi)
10) Tegaa (2 lots, both third party upi)

@amit kumar yadav: as i said, i have heard many times people getting allotment in linkin time also via third party upi and as confirmed by @optimusprime also now, so better you can accept your upi mandates. Mapmyindia is not to miss in any case. There is nothing going in trying luck. so accept mandate for sure since you already applied now.

2. Different UPI IDs but same bank account used for each 3rd party IPO application ?
3. Let''s track Tegaa in more detail for which LinkInTime is the registrar. How many 3rd party IPO application did you do ? Out of which how many are 3rd party UPI ?

I hope you are aware that by 3rd party UPI or IPO application, we mean IPO Applicant name and UPI handle''s bank account holder names are different.
