I had warned many times earlier about paid influncers trying to trap retail investors in highly overvalued shares. Avalon and USK are another such expamples whether i warned many time on invetsing in their ipo. Please do your own through analysis before applying in ipo as there are many paid influencers who will trap retail investors luring them to buy such overpriced ipos.

I think there can be a 2-4 % listing gain but one can buy post listing. I am sure that it will go below issue price nearby 975-1025 one can add this stock for long term but applying for 2-4% listing gain is madness and a bit risky. Only the aggressive members with lot of surplus can park the money.

I couldn't understand logic behind posting of grey price since morning to 5 pm and thereafter no one posting GMP . Is it cartel of punters who are not interested to earn money by medium / small investors .
Let me know if anybody has latest GMP.

The more people become negative about a good issue, the more you should feel bullish and vice versa. Used this tactic multiple times (Gland, Adani wilmar, Medanta, Bikaji, Aether, Paradeep and Rainbow)

Valuations are reasonable and in line with the sector.

Larpers are gonna keep larping - this is your chance to make money.

Worst case might list at a -5% discount - wont make or break much. Catch the fancy!!

@ipo stonks 32 PE is not at all cheap and compare to peer like cipla, zydus life dr reddy trading at 22 to 25 approx PE it's very costly.

Downside risk is high in such cases and main board IPO nowadays falling drastically.

Avlon was also good company and capital markets gave best ratings of 51 for applying still it can't sustain because of negative sentiments of main board and costly PE of 51 so how this big size IPO will servive and who will buy huge quantity?

OFS money simply goes to promotors pocket , single penny wouldn't be used in growth of company so it would not boost growth and earnings.

With rising economy , competition will also would rise in pharma so margin would erode in future.
Already many small player are rising.

And if goverment will announce to Stop branded medicine and allows only generic medicine distribution like USA then mankind would be gone case because mankind majority sales is in branded market.

Cherry picking some slightly lower valued peers is not the way to go imo - take a holistic view and look at a industry at a whole and where it is heading.

Secondly, request you to please not compare apples to oranges. This is very different from a company like Avalon. If all goes well, you will see QIB sub of greater than 25x here (you can check how much it was for Avalon vs the size of issue as well).

You are right about OFS - the money goes to early investors, not the company - but on the positive note you have to acknowledge the fact that the company is so strong that it doesn't need any cash for now and you are getting a chance to invest in such a company. Always two sides to a coin!

I hope you have studied the extensive brands and products that this company has and how much they are used repeatedly :)

Also, I am not a self proclaimed fundamental expert - I have a masters degree in finance and currently working in capital markets so know a thing or two about valuations (not saying that this is cheap!!!)

To conclude - everyone is entitled to do whatever they want with their money, me and you are no one to influence anyone and I sincerely hope it works out for everyone in the end.

Yes minimum allotment is 195 shares in bHNI category. But that means application of Rs 2.1 lakh only. So the moment 4000 application fills 10 lakh the category is oversubscribed and at 20000 application every one will get only 195 . At 25000 applications some people may not get allotment. So for bHNI that is a risk if they have already sold in grey and not covered it

If it cross 40 then too many shorters will be running to match position.

For maximum share allotment apply in retail category for max slots (14). as retail will be under subscribed. Gland pharma yaad hain na.

The subscriptions are picking up decently but still damp. USK had 4L unique applications, so Mankind should be able to surpass that easily (at present 2L). Expecting overall subscription 15x plus for a Rs.50L cr application to apply FF.

I am applying in retail as of now.

Today applied for 14 lots. Hoping to get allotment of entire amount as don't see retail part subscribing 1 time by applications
It is better than sHNI lottery. Where you may get 15 lots or may not get. Happened recently with me with 1.1 time oversubscription in sHNI category

Don't have fast fingers like full timer stock ticker watchers. Safe way to get my allotment at price which is comfortable for me.

This seems to have divided the entire nation of investors. There are proponents on both sides and both are with convincing points.
But ultimately it all boils down to the question, how much can you resist FOMO? That it may give hardly 2-3 percent max returns while chances of giving a bigger loss seems more prominent n this is a forgone conclusion.
Only in exceptional circumstances it may give super profits, but then exceptions are rare n so one should rarely apply expecting exceptions.

I agree the subscription numbers are low but what according to you is the real reason among below?

1. Large IPO(4000Cr)
2. High valuation of share price
3. Market sentiment is not good
4. Weak Economy(including monthend)

Low subscription because
1) High asking price
2) Entirely OFS
3) Last few issues all negative listing
4) Face Value 1 ( most IPOs with face value of 1 looted public)
5) Lot of small investors already lost money or are stuck with holding losses
6) Retailers have understood that whenever we see IPO being heavily marketed by paid influencers they will lose money
7) Lot of layoffs causing people to put investing in stock market on hold.
8) many moving to SME

Why should OFS be an issue? I mean it is just 2.5% and the promotors are still holding over 76%........

If you are not privileged enough to deal with your broker in grey then better to avoid this IPO or atleast consult with your financial advisor.

QIB walo ko request hai ki, aisi demand Listing k din Pre-open me banaye rakhna.

When QIB comes on second day instead of third day it seems a big trap for retailers.

Quichtouch ka itna fast allotment then so quick money unblock.
