Anyone has any pointers about Rsystem delisting. Seems great offer, with minimal risk and reward of almost 6%, at cmp. Would appreciate your views. I am still learning about delistings, takeover arbitrages

@VIKTG dont think so buying tomorrow will be able to tender on 8th. 5th is holiday. Shares would hit demat on 8th afternoon i beleive. So better avoid

Unrelated: It's laughable that Go First was planning an IPO 18 months ago when it still felt tremors in its financials. According to one report, bankruptcy seemed inevitable at least 3 years ago (that's pre-Covid). And poor market participants would still have lapped the IPO up despite whatever the valuations and offer nature. It's a sad reality of the markets and again highlights (after the Adani Enterprises FPO fiasco) the need for deep due diligence when it comes to investing one's hard-earned money. Sometimes I wonder if I'm better off just plugging an index fund with an SIP and shutting down my demat acount. Maybe I'll do it. Or maybe I'll get excited when Mankind Pharma shares get credited into my account late Friday. :)

Biggest cons are mutual funds houses who take retailers money and pump already exorbitant IPOs to unrealistic returns..creating a a fomo ..to lure more retailers..🙄

Excellent point @Crow 
My take is that invest in IPO's only for listing gains (better to have access to the Grey market for hedging) and exit.
For long term investment Nifty-50 with options hedging is a good choice.

No , you have to apply always at cutoff
So whatever management will decide, you will get at that price. Next time keep this things in mind to apply as CUT-OFF.
