High valuations in secondary market has resulted in IPO prices also becoming crazy. One reason many IPO are listing below issue price is insane pricing by managers. In this scenario RII should be choosy and follow stop loss strictly. Best would be applying only for listing gain which this issue may give you, inspite of high PE.

Some of leading logistics companies have current PE in the range 29-35.
Gati 34.04 Transport Corp 30.58 Container Corp 29.98
Mahindra Logistics is looking for PE of 38+ at higher band which is tad expensive. It looks they are already pricing in the possible increase in bottom-line as and when GST stabilises. It is really a bull market valuation which doesnt leave much gain in mid term but it will definitely give 15-20% minimum listing gain.
may be strong promoter group is also priced in this IPO brand... I think, Not many listed logistics companies have charismatic promoters like mahindra!
Thanks chem Cho..just for information purpose can you please inform is employee discount only applicable on Mahindra logistics employee or for any other Mahindra group of companies like Mahindra Nd Mahindra, Mahindra two wheelers
