I wanted to know whether there is big hni and small hni category in sme ipos also like mainboard or its different. Also what can be done to increase chances of allotment. Like apply a certain number of lots or what?

There is no SHNI or BHNI, but only HNI category.
Simple rule in SME HNI, more lots you apply, better the chances.

Anyone who are applying through UBI ASBA, please clarify if I wish to apply 5 lots, which category of investor should I apply. System coming out if I apply 4 lots in NII-others(except QIB)

@nath M, In UBI ASBA, Go to Personalized Limit option then Daily Transaction Limit option. Then increase the daily transaction limit to 10 lakh or 25 lakh and then apply for IPO with amount greater than 5 lakh.

How HNI allotment is done in SME? I know it is proportionate. But how is it calculated? If HNI category is over subscribed by 400 time, does it mean we have apply for 400 lots to receive 1 lot?
If this is true, then why people are going for 7/9 odd lots in a 400-500 times oversubscribed SME IPO?

Experts please guide.

People will going with 7-9 lot for increasing allotment chances, as lot increase, application of more lot decrease, as IN HNI above 8-9 lot , very less application done.

Yes. I have been in Jamnagar for last 4 years they are present there in retail shops. All small shop in near home have there products . We also used it. They are mainly have good market present in Saurasthra.
