I am facing a peculiar problem if any experienced friend can help me.
Some years ago, I bought 100 share of sel manufacturing company (selmc) .It trades both in nse an bse. In August 2021 its price was about Rs 1 , promoter holding about 3%, mutual fund 16% and others 81% .In September 21 all on a sudden the promoter holding become 75%, mutual fund 24% and others 1%
Now the share is going 5% higher everyday and the present price in nse is Rs 480.
Now going to see its present position, I see that on 29/9/2021 100 share minus with comment "capital reduction" in NSDL (brokers menu). I have not got any amount for this transaction. Nor is there anything like any corporate action.
So the company has simply stolen shares of the investors.
If it is a case of reduction of capital, I should have got some shares. Moreover , how the promoter's stake can jump from 3% to 75% with reduction of capital?
I need guidance from experienced friends who have dealt such matter.

If you go through company communication in past you will find similar NCLT approval. Any way i remember SELMC as a share which teaches you good lesson about greed and poor supervision over our audit firms

It is possible that some investor holding big chunk was earlier consider in "Other" category and later that investor got on the board and recognized as co-Promotor along with original promotor with 3%.

You can see Current and earlier share holding on BSE and you can see "ARR ESS LEADING EDGE PRIVATE LIMITED" is recognized as new promotor with majority stake. Earlier they were not in promotor list.

If LIC ipo comes in the next fy, it will come with valuation as it 31.03 2022 which will be much higher than the present one. Moreover, some items which are not valuated properly for shortage of time will also be adjusted.

I have not referred to the valuation that generates surplus for distribution. I have referred to overall valuation of the company. The media and experts are harping on some fancy strings. People are beating the bush. But honey is elsewhere.

Valuation of LIC will rise if interest rate moves up significantly due to inflation given its portfolio is debt dominated and fresh inflow and interest inflow on past debt investment can be reinvested at higher rate
While Banks suffer with interest rate hikes as their SLR portfolio loses value, it is other way round for insurance companies
Don't see any significant positive or negative movement in LIC valuation just because date of 31st March 2022 passes

Bought and sold between 500-700 range multiple time though small quantities. One is scared to trade by taking larger positions as difficult to understand demand and supply drivers.
Yes, one can see technical demand and supply chart. Paytm is also getting some support now it is part of Nifty next 50

Rajaya Sabha majority is far off. While it looks BJP won elections actually it lost on its impact on Rajaya Sabha.
For Majority it would still have to depend upon AAP, BJD, TRS, Jagan Congress, Akali Dal all of them are not NDA members
NDA will also lose seats from Tamilnadu, Bihar as its MLA strength has gone down

Navi Technologies file DRHP with issue size upto 3350 crore with pre ipo option of 670 crore.
Interesting thing about the issue is the face value of share being Rs 100.
I don't remember any recent IPO share with face value of Rs 100

If IPO allotment were not to happen within this financial year then HNI would not get funding. NBFC are not excited about carrying large open funding on balance sheet date i.e. 31.3. 2022
So Issue would need to open either on 17th or 21st (18th being holiday)

Btw... The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has barred Paytm Payments Bank from onboarding new customers with immediate effect due to certain supervisory concerns.

Further pain for Paytm shareholders.....May open 6 to 7 % lower on Monday...

Hi some members are expressing doubt regard to Brightcom (BCG). It's a very good share, please check records. Also management is shareholder friendly. Some brokers are playing crooked game and creating panic for small time retailers to sell. I am pretty sure by April, once the results are out, those holding will breath easy.

In the month of February, new business premium of LIC grows 35%
SBIL grows 6.5 %, HDFCL grows 10% and ICICIPRUL decreases by 22%.
70% of life insurance business is procured in the last two quarter.
Somebody may say that this is for LIC ipo. Be it, it is the answer who will bail out as some friends have put in.

एलआईसी के शेयरहोल्डर्स को सरकार के किसी भी फैसले से नुकसान हो सकता है। यह एलआईसी के एनपीए में भी देखने को मिलता है, जो 7.78 फीसदी है। यह आंकड़ा सभी लिस्टेड इंश्योरेंस कंपनियों में सबसे अधिक होगा। एसबीआई लाइफ का एनपीए 0.05 फीसदी, एचडीएफसी लाइफ का एनपीए 0.07 फीसदी, मैक्स लाइफ का 0.2 फीसदी और बजाज अलाएंज लाइफ का एनपीए 0.9 फीसदी है। वहीं आईसीआईसीआई प्रूडेंशियल लाइफ का एनपीए 0.00 है।
विशेषज्ञों की मानें तो एलआईसी के आईपीओ से बचकर रहने की जरूरत है। सलाह दी जा रही है कि अगर डिस्काउंट पर भी शेयर ऑफर होते हैं तो भी इसमें निवेश करते वक्त बहुत अधिक सावधानी बरतने की जरूरत है। सलाह ये दी जा रही है कि अभी सरकार एलआईसी का 5 फीसदी बेच रही है और बाद में इसमें और हिस्सेदारी बेचे जाने की उम्मीद है। एंजेल वन की इक्विटी स्ट्रेटेजिस्ट ज्योति रॉय (डीवीपी) कहती हैं कि अगर आप इस शेयर में निवेश करने की सोच रहे हैं तो आपको लंबे वक्त का सोचकर चलना होगा, तभी मुनाफा मिल सकता है।
