LIC IPO - Does applying for more than one lot increase the chances of allotment ? As the LIC IPO is likely to be oversubscribed, does it make sense to apply for more than one lot under Retail / Policy holder category under a single Demat account ?

For other IPOs is definitely not. But in LIC if you are applying for more than one lot you may get more than 15 shares.

LIC IPO bidding is available for 5 days on 4,5,6,7, and 9 May 2022.

IPO bilding available on Saturday 7 May 2022

The IPO timing 10AM to 7PM on all 5 days.

But Always Remeber on last day ASBA closing timing of the bank is important for filling of application.

In campus & rainbow i forgot on last day and fortunately applied as remembered just before few minutes of closing time.

And even funds blocked for IPO, i receive saving interest on that in ICICIDirect.

LIC IPO Limits in Reserved Quotas

Rs 2 lakh investment limit in policyholders, employees, and retail investors' quotas.
Policyholders can Increase limits by bidding in the "policyholders + retail" quota (Rs 2 + 2 lakh).
Employees can Increase limits by bidding in the "employee + policyholders + retail" quota (Rs 2+2+2 lakh).

Please confirm is it worth to apply more then 1 lot in policy holders category if it subscribe 100%.

And if policy holder category subscribe 10 times and I will apply 1 lot only then is my 1 lots is confirmed or i will get 15share in 1 lot /10= 1 shares only or how the things work

Proportional allotment in policy holders category. If under subscribe then you will get full allotment, but in this category it will be over subscribed.

In case of Oversubscription 1 to 4 lot applicant may be get lot as lottery system and above proportionate basis.

Gmp 85

Kostak rate 1,350/- for single lot of retail application in LIC IPO, down from 1,500/- in Mumbai.

Kostak is payable even if no allotment, provided valid application exist. One should sell application only with account holder's ASBA or UPI.

Don't use single upi I'd for 2 or more applications otherwise all applications will be rejected as happened with me in Ruchi Soya plus unblocked amount while using single upi I'd for multiple accounts in Campus IPO😔
