Less than 30% for Major Foreign Investors allocation could be good for below reasons to my opinion; (may or may not be right)🤔

1. Local MF won’t sell quickly (govt may ask them to keep until next OFS at least)
2. Unallocated FII may buy after the great success from market
3. Less FII is better for the time being due to rate cut, recession …etc( there won’t be big selling here)

@God is Great... I will surely apply in LIC, how much will depend on subscription at the final day. I expect a reasonable subscription and will target a good allotment. Old HNI allotment rules will give us a fair indication of allotment chances.

I have 4 applicants and two of them are LIC Policy holders too. So it will be exciting application process, PH + R, PH+ HNI, HNI....
thankfully no employee category... else it would been really complicated :)

I will definitely apply for sure without miss. I'm planning to apply as Policyholder + HNI. How much with HNI depends on subscription. If it crosses 5X, will apply in FF. If subscription is <5X, then may be half of my funds.

Its an exciting IPO and lets see the Anchor book response today and overall numbers on 9th May.

God is Great - As per me, retail subscription will be within 1-2 times. So we can apply to the extent we are willing to take. Personally, I have a policy and I will apply 1 application in policy holder quota and 2-3 applications in retail quota. I am expecting around 5% on listing day and with discount for policy holders and retailers, one can bag 10% (together with discount) in short period. LIC will be a safe bet but not a dark horse. I am expecting good amount of QIB interest here irrespective of the volume.
