so via lottery people will be allotted 1 lot, if their application lot size is lesser than subscription times in policyholder category.

So by this yiou also mean..
The chances of getting shares alklotment are better if apllied in max no. of lots applicable for the catagory..???

2 separate application for the same PAN and in the same category will be considered as duplicate and both applications will be rejected. You can cancel the first application (2 lots) and applied afresh for 14 lots.

Based on current data, it won't be far-fetched to say it can cross 1x in retail.

Hostpacker in retail it will cross 2X with ease.

As per RHP, definition of Eligible policyholder is as below:

Policyholders (excluding such other persons not eligible under applicable laws, rules, regulations and non-Individual policy holders) of our Corporation having one or more policies of our Corporation as on the date of the DRHP and Bid / Offer Opening Date and are residents of India would be eligible to apply in this Offer under the Policyholder Reservation Portion. Note: A policyholder of our Corporation was required to ensure that his / her PAN details are updated
in the policy records of our Corporation at the earliest. A policyholder who did not update his / her PAN details with our Corporation before expiry of two weeks from the date of the filing of the Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI (i.e., by February 28, 2022) shall not be considered as an Eligible Policyholder.

So, for you to become eligible policyholder, you need to have the active policy as on the date of the DRHP AND Bid / Offer Opening Date (i.e. 4-5-2022). Since your policy is lapsed in April 2022, you are NOT eligible to apply in Policyholder category.

you should be able to apply under policy holder category as 28th Feb is cutoff for Policy holder quota

All policies that have not exited LIC records due to maturity, surrender, or the policyholder’s death are eligible for reservation under the Policyholder Reservation, LIC has said in its filing. Therefore, policyholders with lapsed policies can also apply for the LIC IPO.

@rajesh: yes lapsed policyholder can apply but your policy as you mentioned is matured, so you are not eligible, as per RHP since it is matured before offer opening date.
Still i would suggest that you apply in the policyholder category also if you have funds, that will not cause any issue to your other retail/HNI application. If they will not consider your policyholder application then only that application will be rejected, not other application. And policyholder application is also accepted then that's good for you.

I am policy holder. Can I apply PH category for 13 lots and 1 lot in RII from same demat account and same upi id ? I am a bit confused. I did same for Adani Wilmer in RII and SH category but couldn't get any allotment. I don't know whether it was rejected due to multiple applications from same demat account reason or not. Kindly share your advice.
