It means pan wise application. Some people appply more than 1 lot. So application wise mean pan wise subscription.

There are few people who did bid for more than 1 lot here.
So overall retail subscription showing: 1.11
but in actuality, unique applications submitted till now are: 0.92

How many of them are correct?????

No. Maximum Application in Policy holder category below 2 lacs with 210 shares (14 lots)

Makes more sense to buy stocks now from secondary market and can give better returns if chose wisely.

Please suggest some shares to track

From a possible listing gain perspective yes, but many people expecting LIC to be a multibagger in the long run 🙃

In policyholders you are allowed to apply only up to 2 lakhs. Above 2 lakhs you need to apply in NII(HNI) whiteout discount

Thank you so much @lokes your suggestion was completely right. The amount was automatically discounted in the pol option for my asba.

I have a new question for the experts:
1) Can i apply from policy holder and Individual both from ASBA or only choose one of these option?
2) Since this is such a huge ipo in terms of amount when should I invest basis subscription in retail and HNI?

Apply max 14 lot (210 shares ) application in policy holder category, as it is available @889/shares

Apply only one lot (15 shares) application in Retail, as this is going to oversubscribed and only one lot per person will be final allotment.

Looking at market condition , i have decided to skip LIC ipo
along with Delhivery ,ipo

Can Initiates ur Decision near 2 pm. Calculated Risk taken in Ruchi Soya and it rewarded handsomely to some smart player.

Here Risk Reward is Good, not like Paytm or Cartrade.

My verdict. Irrespective of market condition, i am applying 8 lots is retail, 5 lot in policy holder ( 3 out of 5 will be 2 lakh application). Skipping HNI.

very valid points. Retail and PH - 'blind apply' (no need to think much).

HNI can decide the lots on Monday after seeing HNI and QIB (for me QIB interest is important as HNI may possible to sell on listing day for listing pop).

(Personally Ruchi was almost risk free and it was easy to go FF. For LIC risk reward is there)

How to apply in retail category(1 lot) using SBI ASBA as the discount is not showing in the final bid option

Select cut off price, automatically it will hold the discounted price only.

If I select the cut-off price, it's automatically taking 949 as default upper band

Applied two single lot applications in retail category and one full lot application in policy holder category. Could not apply other eligible full application in policyholder category due to Axis bank internet banking problem but hopefully apply same by Monday 12 Pm. Market condition led by Fed and RBI interest rate increase will not defer or change my decision.

New to this forum, applied 1 lot in retail category. Just to participate. Not sure why such hype for just this IPO compared to others.

One reason maybe because it's connected to India's pride.

Because
1. LIC is known to maximum people of india.
2. Its the biggest IPO in Indian stock market history.
3. One of the biggest employer
4. LIC ke paas bahut paisa hai.
5. Overall 4 % of Indian stock market is controlled by LIC.
Many more feathers can not describe due to lack of time

it all depends on how much funds you have and how much allotment you want.
As per my opinion, apply 1 lot in retail category in all 9 demat accounts, don't take much risk. you will be allotted anything between 6 to 9 lots. total approx.
In retail category, discount is there, so risk won't be there even if it will list at par. But mostly it will list with some premium.
