Modiji fund band karwa dega agar kisi fund ne paisa lagane se mana kar diya toh. Jab tak fund paisa laga rahe hai, hum paisa bana kar nikal lenge 🤣

It is very wrong idea you are propagating that PSU issues don't give returns. It is other way round. Most of the PSU issues have given handsome rating eg IRCTC whose valuation increased over three times the issue price. In contrast private issues like PayTM, CarTrade etc, investors lost heavily.

What's your call on LIC IPO?

Hope you get extra holiday for working on Sunday. Banks will be open with full function or limited?
20 years back, there were some bank branches opening on Sunday and holiday on Monday. It was great to have account on those branches, it was real convenience.

So as of now, use this combination to apply:
- 1st Combination: 2 Lots in Policyholder + 1 Lot in Retail

Considering retail will mostly oversubscribe application wise.

Your best bet is to go with the option of

- 1st Combination: 2 Lots in Policyholder + 1 Lot in Retail

As POL quota will go upto 5x+ oversubscription, so you will be alotted via lottery, by applying in retail you will be increasing your chances of allotment.

- 2nd Combination: 1 Lot in Policyholder + 2 Lots in Retail - more lots in retail does not matter but in POL it matters because of proportionate allotment

- 3rd Combination: 3 Lots in Policyholder - has slightly higher probability of allotment but still no guaranteed allotment

- 4th Combination: 3 Lots in Retail - it will be a wastage of money - in retail oversubscribed IPOs it does not matter if you apply for 1 lot or 14, the probability of allotment remains the same

Option 1 : Apply 1 lot in retail and 2 lot in PH quota since PH Quota is on proportionate basis (and not lottery) and already oversubscribed so just test your luck here.
Option 2: Apply 1 lot in retail and leave PH quota since PH Quota is on proportionate basis (and not lottery) and already oversubscribed and still few more days remaining and many investors will have funds unblocked from campus and rainbow and deploy here SO ph quota sub will jump more.... So save your 30k amount to apply in Venus pipes/Prudent IPO in retail, if you deemed fit and if it suits your requirement..
Your risk.. your reward.. choose wisely.

Why did you cancel your application? Is this ipo not good as per your point of view?

With 5% discount to retail and 7% discount to Policy holder, who is afraid of applying even if likely LIC listing at 975

Leave market for now, come to market when it is NIFTY above 18000.

hopefully LIC IPO of this mega size is going to be oversubscribed in all the categories.
