After a few days of fall, Indian market will have gap up opening. On last Friday all major global markets ended in the green except India, which will try to catch up.
If market improves, LIC will have premium listing

Given the fact that retail did not subscribe by number of applications indicate lack of wider faith on positive opening despite discount to policy holders and retail
I have no issue with IPO price but at same time i see it opening at discount
There is lot of overhang on the share. May be policy holder may add more but dont see much retail hunger

market conditions are becoming good, also global markets closed positive
all this things can make lic listing better
around 950-980 listing can be possible
after that everything in operators (govt) hands 😙as 96.5 % equity with govt

I have allotted 48 in PH + 15*3 in three retail applications. Thus total 93 shares I will be holding for long term, as I know LIC is a portfolio stock and not a day to day trading stock.

I am not paying any attentions to noises made here with the intention of creating panic amongst investors so that they can take benifit of panic.

It's a 40 lakh crore AUM available at 6 lakh crore. I expect to reach atleast 12-15 lakh crore in 1-2 years time. Choice is URS u want to sell at low profit or keep it for long term.

This is a portfolio stock which is must in everyone portfolio. Don't look at the listing day price this was never meant to be. If you get it at low price keep adding this. You will be wealthy after some years holding this stock.

I applied 2 applications, one with ASBA for 210 shares -78 allotted. Second with UPI for 15 shares from another DP, in second was money was not blocked hence no shares allotted.

Hold on to all shares. This is not a short term listing day stock but will eventually keep on increasing and create investor wealth. Big HNI will grab the shares from retailers at lower price and thats the reason u see lot of negative message sent. I would say atleast hold all ur shares for 6 months to 1 year and don't look at price movement every day. Disclosure: I am not going to sell my allotment and will infact keep adding more at regular interval.

Cn anyone please tell me when will I get credit of lic shares in groww. I had applied from sbi asba and have also got confirmation sms from cdsl regarding credit but yet not seen in groww demat ac. One who knows about groww app kindly update as I m working for 1st time with groww.

Since LIC shares credited in CDSL, it means shares already came in your D Mat.

Now issue relates to appearing the same in holdings in Groww App. The shares will appear in your portfolio on listing day.

There is absolutely no chance for this giant company to list in discount, except two situations -
1. As we all know, the market is volatile which can impact it's listing.
2. Negative sentiments or rumours spread by people because they want this gem in huge qty. at lower price.
This IPO has postive sides like-
1. Low share price, discount for retailers and PH.
2 Undervalued stock.
3. The trust of people on LIC.
4. Profit making company which makes this IPO so attractive.
I will recommend to all allottees just hold for few months if you can, don't panic by seeing the negative msgs. The share price will never go to 500, it is not PAYTM which was overpriced and also overvalued. It is a GEM, operators couldn't manage to buy huge qty at discount so they are spreading all sorts of negative news. Even if you are a laymen in stock market, you will know the value of LIC. So act wisely, Don't panic!!!!! All the best and Good Luck. God is with the brave.

I applied 14 lots in policy holder quota only after received. Lici official confirmation to recognise me as a policy holder. My bid is rejected fully under policy holder category. Something is wrong with lici record update.
I have updated my policy with pan no in jan 2022 successfully.

Are you a NRI? As per LIC, policyholders who are NRI were not eligible to apply in PH category..

No. I am indian resident only. I have firearded such issue to lici attaching their confirmation to recognise me as their resident policy holder .
I have surrendered my lici policy after this issue ..

Aur jo Grey market mein Long hai Wo Soch te hain Rs 1100-1200/ hoga. Stock market mein 🐂Bull aur 🐻bear Dono ka Khel hai. Dono ki Alag alag Vichaar dhara ho Sakti hai. Isko Seriously nahi lena Chahiye Forum par Time pass karo. Kisi ko Jalna nahi Chahiye.

LIC for policy holder

Ipo listing se pehle dhi policy holder ko loota hai aur listing ke bad bhi lootege....

The amount blocked through UPI in Axis Bank hasn't been released yet. My friends who applied through HDFC bank and other banks, the ASBA block has been released. Anyone facing similar issues ? I am researching on how to raise a complaint with KFIntech or Axis for this.

LIC surely list @discount of 40-45 i.e. near 910 on NSE. It may go down further .. High rush for sale in pre-open. Don't believe anybody ad who says positive listing will be first to sale in pre-open. Apply your own mind it's your money. If not sure then atleast halt quantity must be put at pre-open at low DPR.
