Since huge number of retailers got allotment,They going to sell at few more bucks than their allotment so you can expect listing in discount unless big bag institutions show up.

C, LIC will list at 950 without any listing gains. Slowly but steadily it will rise to 1900 by May2023.

Around IPO price , I would like to see 1000+ , but in this market condition , it is difficult.. If any positive change happens then 1000+ is quite possible.

sirf 1 din baki he ab lekin premium abhi bhi (- 21) he ... personal Kauve ka analysis he ke kal rat 10 pm tak (- 4 to -7) premium ana chahiye... 1 time touch system... ager utna bhi nahi ata to down to down hi hona chahiye minimum 70 rs. listing down ....

abhi bhi kaheta hu 30 40 share invest karne he fir bhi 100 200 share rakhe he to loss kitna sahan kar sakte ho wo backup dekh lo...

Also most people with broker accounts with groww,etc can not place pre open orders so there's that issue.

@Asoke, your condition of 'not revocable' says all you have in your mind. Clearly you expect a positive listing more than issue price of 949. You have made money within the house, and let's hope sale is not reversed, which is most likely though. My guesstimate says listing will be above 1000.

21,000 cr ka total issue size hai aur QIB Quota 50% hai to 21,000 ka 50% 10,500 cr hua aur vo 2.25x hua hai to total bid QIB ke liye 23,625 cr hua, me ye calculation samajh raha tha, kripaya mujhe correct kare. Dhanyawad.

No, in both cases order will not execute. If listing will done in less than your order rate, order will execute at listing rate

1. Yes ICICIDirect allows pre-open session order
2. Market order can not be placed during pre-open session, only limit order will be allowed
3. For regular market, pre-open time is upto 9.07 am
For IPO listing, pre-open order is upto 9.45 (better placing upto 9.43)
4. buying or selling @ pre-open settled price
BUY - To buy @ pre-open settled price, place buy order @ upper limit
eg. if upper limit is 1240, place order @ 1240, if upper limit during the period changes to 1500, modify order to 1500, if pre-open price settled @ 1010, then order will be executed @ 1010.
SELL - To sell @ pre-open settled price, place sell order @ lower limit (if want to sell only @ or above the issue price, place order @ issue price)
eg. if lower limit is 650, place order @ 650, if lower limit during the period changes to 470, modify order to 470, if pre-open price settled @ 990, the order will be executed @ 990 (if order placed @ issue price, then if price settled @ or above issue price, order will be executed @ settled price)

Note : Order execution will be subject to available buyers and sellers @ pre-open settled price

For LIC what is the lower limit? It might be very difficult to change price because of less time we get, monitoring moving price and updating value in all accounts. I'm thinking of pre-market order price varying from 910 to 950, what do you suggest?

@ Krishna T, I don't understand why you apply for IPO and place order at lower circuit . People like you create unnecessary pressure at preopen and some ipo list lower than expected price. My suggestion is if you want to sell at preopen that check the price around 9.35 to 9.40 am and place your order 5 % down from the price it is showing around 9.40 . Ipo price rs 100 and you get allotment and place order at rs 10 make no sense. This means your order will get executed at whatever profit or loss at preopen. Why to apply IPO when you want to sell at whatever loss. I don't understand

@crsl, you are suggesting wrong technique to place order at lower & upper circuit for selling & buying.

@papon I think you have misunderstood the question. Your reply doesn't make much sense because pre-order doesn't work the way you mentioned. Better you should take price as an example because for share price of 100, someone will sell at 10?

Yes if IPO allotment price is Rs 100 than initial lower circuit is 50% lower . If bids at lower circuit increase that lower circuit is upto 90% of ipo price

@ Krishna t, if you put buy order more than preopen price than your buy order will get execute. Same way if you put sell order below preopen price than your order will get execute. Example preopen settle price of a share is 100 and your buy order place above rs 100 will get execute but your sell order if any above rs 100 will not get execute.

2nd example if preopen price settle at Rs 100 , your sell order will get execute when you place order below rs 100 but if you place buy order below rs 100 will not get execute .

At hat price? For e.g.

- Pre-market order placed at 960 and LIC lists at 1000? will it be sold at 1000 or pre-market settled price?

- Pre-market order placed at 920 and LIC lists at 900? will this be executed at 900 if pre-market settlement matches with 900 or order will remain open in demat to reach to 920?

Yes your sell Order will execute at 1000.

In this case your Sell order @920 will be cancelled @ 9.45 AM and it will not remain active after preopen. You have to put another order @ 10 AM to sell it for 920.

Nice catch!

In the case of Campus, I placed sell order for 215 shares at 355 in pre open through Axis Direct around 9 40 am. My order got executed at the equilibrium price of 360.

@c.dinesh. Different broker has different rules. My broker doesn't cancell. I believe your order will be cancelled only when you put buy or sell price out of the circuit limit from the preopen listing price.
