Instead of searching for pre open links, you can directly see the indicative opening price from orderbook of your trading platform..

What is important during the IPO listing is Equilibrium price around 9:40 AM because the stock more or less lists at that price. Above links does not provide that information. So NSE/BSE pre market links are very useful.

Yes, you can.
Price: On NSE, anything in between 379.60 and 1898, you can put a Limit Sell order with this price. You can keep modifying as the price changes and we move towards 09.45.

In my opinion, Listing can be around 930-955....it won't go much on any side i think, on downside around 895-905 as new buying should come at these levels and on upside around 970-980 since selling pressure may emerge there from retailers and policyholders.
Whoever allotted many lots in retail and/or policyholders may book partial profit above 960 any price and remaining keep for longer term. Lic valuations are attractive but for short term, mostly it will depend on market movement. If nifty will break 15750 any day then it may move to 15400-15500 around.

In case I want to sell during pre open time, then should I be placing my order at around 9:40 am (ie just before 9:45)
Bit what value should it have for me to sell it? If at 9:40 am :

Scenario 1 : CMP on the name site is showing 900 then shd I be placing order of what value ?

Scenario 2 : CMP on the name site is showing 990 then shd I be placing order of what value ?

@vantage: for selling, if your order price is lower than final listing price than it will be executed so whatever price you are seeing by 9.42 , you can place sell order at price 20-30Rs than that, then it will be sold at listing price. So in both your scenerio you can put sell price order around 20Rs less than cmp, by around 9.42am. listing happens around 9.44-45

Will list at a major discount, that's where the direction is. Bad sentiment for the market and future IPOs

Latest money control report says LIC Shares are at 13% discount to issue price in pre-opening. Unbelievable!
