I disagree with assessment of worst. If some one had insight why it is worst it should have been shared earlier. I had said closing below issue price but it happens with many issues. They don't become worst

Well if rate keep on falling then free float value will also fall. Would GOI dare to sell below this IPO price in FPO? Well Govt had done so many odd things in past. Like selling part of NHPC at 36 and then buying it back at Rs 19 later on after 7 8 years

-- LIC and AWL will be classified as Large cap when AMFI meets on 1st July..
-- LIC holds 4.5% in Indian stock market. Holding LIC is itself , holding a diversified portfolio.. so not expecting big downside..

Disclaimer - I have already predicted flat listing for LIC, only hold 3 lots (retail).. No plan to add more or sell any...

Business channels are even afraid to tell that it is very poor listing. Instead, they are telling that retailers got chance to exit with profit. What a pity.

True. Before Ipo no analyst and business Chanel s were saying that apply for portfolio stock and for long term. But on the listing day all these bloody fellow were saying that this kind of Listing was expected. Nowadays one can manage the things with money and power. This is the classic example of this fact. Hence Retailers have to use their mind before deciding any decision.

What is Bulk deal?
A bulk deal is a trade where total quantity of share bought is more than 0.5% of the number of shares of the company.
0.5% of LIC is ~3K crores and No Institution want LIC in this much quantity.

Was reading a post from a prominent member dated 14/02/2022, where the indicative price band was Rs. 2000 +/- 200 with GMP of Rs. 20/-. Since then it seems Govt was wise to reduce the price band to a reasonable level. Even if the issue was priced at around 2000 levels, it would've sailed through, but might have crashed drastically post listing. Must say that Retailers are spared in this issue.

Very sad ...what to do with embedded value when a share cannot list atleast at par...I sold all at 902 Rs and invested that money in RIIL at 1007...it closed at 1042...having strong news will go atleast 1500 rs...in 6 months time....

I have not received my remaining amount. Got 77 shares. Got sms saying your bank is instructed to deduct so and so and release so and so amount. Who to contact ? Some people have lower listing as only problem... I have 2 of them... Haha. Any help appreciated.

It was very wise of you that you did not replied and i took it as sign. I admire your knowledge, expertise and wisdom. Already stuck in campus/ranibow so didn't wanted to strike both legs, so had to see through LIC (wish i would be wrong and LiC bounces back roaring tomorrow morning). I did not applied and have no ill feelings towards the allottee. Wish they could make profit of it as soon as possible.
