The valuation of NSE @45000 crore is around two-and-a-half times the level at which shares in the bourse last changed hands. In July, State Bank of India (SBI) sold a 5% stake in NSE to Mauritius-based Veracity Investments Ltd for Rs911 crore, valuing the exchange at Rs18,200 crore.
If it happens then what would be on table for retailers.
Experts comments expected.

My point is that SBI sold NSE shate at Rs.4050 per share and after that bonus of 1 for 10 and stock split of FV Rs.10 to Rs.1 total share will be 11x then price per share should be 4050/11=368 and NSE may offer 11.14 crore shares (22.5% of 49.5 crore total shares) at 10000 crore then price =10000/11.14 =897.
So why price increase from 368 to 897 in just 6 months.

In 2016 SBI sold 22.5 lakh shares of NSE @Rs.4050 per share while IDBI bank sold 9 lakh shares @Rs.3900 per share and IFCI also sold 6.75 lakh @Rs.3900 per share.

In October 2016 NSE board decided to issue bonus shares in the proportion of 1:10, i.e., one bonus share would be issued for every 10 shares held.

The NSE has an authorised capital of Rs 50 crore (sub-divided into five crore shares of face value Rs 10 each). Of this, Rs 45 crore is fully paid-up. With the issuance of bonus shares its paid-up equity share capital would go up to 4.95 crore shares of Rs 10 each.

Stock spilt

The NSE also decided to spilt the face value of its shares to Rs 1 each from Rs 10 and decided that shareholders would receive 10 shares of Rs 1 each for every share of Rs 10 they held. The split would be done after effecting the bonus share allotment.The authorised capital of the bourse after the spilt would then be 49.5 crore shares of Rs 1 each.
So current shate price will be 3900/11=354 to 4050/11=368 per share after bonus and stock split
Shareholders
At the end of June 2016, IFCI held 3.55 per cent stake in the company, Tiger Global Five Holdings and Norwest Venture Partners owned 3 and 2.11 per cent stake, respectively. In all, 17 foreign portfolio investors collectively held 9.29 per cent stake in the NSE while three venture capital funds had 3.76 per cent stake.

Six insurance companies collectively hold 19.84 per cent stake in the exchange, of which LIC controls 12.51 per cent stake, GIC 1.64 per cent and National Insurance Co 1.42 per cent.

So price band can be between 897 ~ 1075, factoring 20% increase allowed.

YEA ITs SBI AT 4050 AND 5% STAKE....sorry for spelling mistake....and it is valued at 918 crore for 5 % stake

For 22% share sale for 10000 crore.
.. price band stand at 8950 rs for 1 share

It should be SBI instead of sebi.

SBI did sell @ 4500 and @10,000 cr IPO per share value comes @ 8800

I think NSE have to split 10 rupees share into 1 rupee share .

However Jan expiry is the only key for 8350(FIIs helps reqd.)

Day to day LCs due to pledged shares....actually i m also tracking it...but no idea when it will open LCs

Ofcourse this will not become a penny stock but problem seems hugh....it''s strong support is near 35 as per the charts.....

In this type of shares check daily how many shares are still there to b sold in LCs ..once u find today/tomm it gonna open ckt ...strts buying....i will infrm if/when i buy it.
