Hi Experts,

I am planning to start HNI application for the upcoming IPOs.
In Chittorgarh forum I have seen that 1 lot is guaranteed and there’s lack of clarity.
Please guide me, my question is,
1. If I apply through HNI, am I eligible for “guaranteed one lot”?
2. I am using federal bank and I have never seen HNI option anywhere in ASBA.
I can see only INDIVIDUAL and EMPLOYEE sometimes. That means Federal Bank dont support HNI applications?

Note: Recent ipos not alloted any single one. All applied in retail 1 lot with 2 accounts.

And @ Chittorgarh team, please add the option to track an individual response easily after logging in. Currently I am having difficult to find my own posts to check the replies. (Track replies are on but its not practical to check mail everytime)

And regarding federal bank, you need to choose individual only if no NII category and in individual, you just need to apply for shares for more than 2 lakhs at upper band price.

As allotment looks tough, is it wise to buy on allotment date and hold for few months or years. Please advice.

If i apply this ipo tomorrow then what is time period to accept payment request give me answer plz

Please go through the HNI IPO Application Guide for details. This should clerify most of your details.

People having 200-300 lots should skip this ipo as its very hard to get one allotment .Better to apply in sapphire .even it gets listing around 5-10 percent you can certainly generate some wealth as you will get more allotment.more ever the money used in sapphire can be utilised in Tarson which seems to gets around 30-40 percent return and high chance of allotment .

It seems difficult in Sapphire to get an allotment too....

HNIs are not entitled to Bid at the Cut-off Price. They have to bid at a fixed price in the issue price range.NII bids are considered for allotment only when they are received at or above the Offer Price. Is that really true??

As per the market sources,

The Latent IPO GMP is around Rs 275 against the issue price of Rs 197. That is 140% of the issue price.

My guess for HNI subscription is now 400x at the minimum... GMP is also above 140% and this augurs well for a blockbuster subscription and thus lower allotment & overall profit... Overall, NYKAA jaisa IPO, saal me ek baar aata hai... and Zomato jaisa life me ek baar

I have the funds to apply 250 lots in either Latent or Tarsons in NII Category. Which would be the preferred Ipo to invest in factoring in listing gains and chances of allotment?

Thanks for the advice! I guess I will go with latent as it is the better Ipo and just maybe I will get lucky and the funds will be released in time for Tarson too!

@inquisitive: 100% latent view funds will not be available to use in tarson for HNI.
And tarson gmp started with 25% gmp around now. So you can decide accordingly.

To all the HNI EXPERTS -
If an IPO is subscribed 280x in HNI category.
Person A applied 14 lots and person B applied 250 lots.
Are odds of getting an allotment is same for both the person or person B has more chances?

Naturally, person B has more chances. It not only depende on HNI oversubscription figure, but also how many people had applied 14 lots & how many had applied 250 lots.

assuming hni subscription to be 280x and retail 100x
if I manage to apply 14 lots under hni
then i wil have 1 : 20 chance in hni compared to 1 : 100 in retail

It Means higher one will get first.

@grow: it''s not like as you said that higher one will get first. Higher one may not get and lower one may get, it depends on various factors as I explained in my other posts many times and recently also in sigachi i think on sbipo post you can check.
