I found this news on one of lesding website which regularly update ipo news of globe.

L&T Infotech IPO which opened yesterday may get 100 times subscription from its retail segment category by close. The IPO closes tomorrow.

I went back and read the whole message board of parag only few stooges who have now disappeared and two good contributors CHem Cho and Khemka said they will apply in fact i congrats Chem Cho on his risk taking style.... This acestockpicker comes say he has recommended however his only single contribution on parag after positive list buy on dips which never came it just went up all way up.... Good on Chem Cho And Khemka having faith in a DOG which actual was cash COW to them

This Acestockpicker just comes and says he said which is false and then blame others he does this all post list.... I have no issue getting wrong my issue is taking credit when he has not contributed at all in regards to pre IPO stages....

I have applied 40 share (2 lots) with one application. What is the chances of getting shares ?

With huge listing gains in the recent IPOs, retail applicants are applying in droves resulting in huge over subscription.
This issue may also get 8 to 10 times oversubscription in the retail segment.
Which means pure and simple lottery and roll of dice.
There is no point in trying to analyse these issues in depth as you at best may get one lot allotted.
It is another matter,if after listing you want to buy at the then prevailing rates for medium or long term.
There is not much anyone can do about this.
Apply, wait for allotment, curse the registrar to the issue( more if it is Link Intime), wait for the next IPO and repeat the cycle.
And by law of probability once in a while get an allotment, and be happy :-).
Most likely when we are allotted it will list at a discount to the issue price like in CCD, Quick Heal, HCG, Precision Camshaft etc :-(
