ya , I too fully agree with Sreedhar that L&T -IPO is not very attractive especially in the existing financial markets conditions.
There are better opprtunities in the secondary market.

you are Correct, In L&T brochure it is clearly written , For shareholders Allotment will be based on ratio.

If one has 100 shares and one has only 1 shares , so no of shares will not be allotted same to both applicants .

If anyone applying from shareholder category he should have at least 100 shares of L&T otherwise allotment will be very bad.

I have already told my decision.This is a bekar issue.I do not like L&T.For nominal returns you can apply.It may list & may go into discount also.No extraordinary returns expected.

W.r.t. Chirag's question. RHP mentions that
Based on the information provided by the Depositories, the Company shall have the right to accept Bids belonging to an account for the benefit of a minor (under guardianship).
So if a minor has a independent PAN card and a DP account on his/her name, he/she is eligible to apply.

Dear Freinds, Rs.@59/- P/B is 3 times & Higher. Even take into account Growth of FY12 P/B will be more than 2 times. Max Allotment will be not more than 500 shares in Retail & Max gain is Rs.2000/- per 2 Lac Application. GMP 4 X 500 Shares. It will be more or less Muthoot Finance.
