@single user.... Allotment process is on lottery basis in case of over subscribed IPO. Keystone IPO is not fully subscribed in retail category. If you have applied in retail category surely you will get allotment. It is over subscribed in HNI category so it works on lottery basis. You may get may not.

119. Tejas pandya- Angel one web browser is significantly slow. The mobile App is bit ok compared to its browser but not great. much slower than Zerodha, upstox, MO, groww, SMC ace and SHCIL. For Minor account prefer full-service broker like SHCIL. Use transnet and transfer shares on the same day. For upstox you need paper DIS which needs to send by post unless you use easiest of CDSL. Angel have its own online DIS system which is convenient however I don't like the app.

U can check prostocks as well as it seems to offer more

I know of 90+ year old bedridden people who were served IT notices.
I know what happened to the Governer's promise to pay the bearer of a currency note.
I have heard about a kid who was denied admission to hospital after being bitten by a venmous snake for not having "A" card.
I won't be surprised if minors too start getting IT notices sometime soon.

Angel one doesn't allow selling shares from minor's account. You will have to transfer shares from minor's acc to some other account to sell....
Only a few brokers are there that allow selling from Minor's acc. Ideally you should open there.

128.4. Justalearner- No broker is allowed to sell from minors' account. in India minors can have Demat but not a trading account as per the guidelines of SEBI. Check the fact before forwarding the information in the public domain.

I have my 3 years old Daughter's Dmat account with Prostock and they allow to sell directly after approving e-DIS.

You cannot do intraday trading, but you can buy or sell shares for BTST/Delivery.

Durairaj - I am planning to open it too in the name of my daughter (11 Y) in Prostock and I need to open a bank account too. Do you have idea if Kids special bank account such as HDFC Kids Advantage, BOB Champ etc allow IPO application by ASBA? Or is it good that I open a normal / regular savings account in the name of my daughter. Should I open a joint account keeping her as first holder and me as Second holder?

A minor can buy and hold shares but can't sell them. It's like flying an airplane without a landing gear. 10,15 years is a long period. Long enough even to upend the world order. Does SEBI undertake to protect children's investments and the returns?
SEBI's think tank , if that truly exists, needs a serious cleanup

I would request you to do the same. Check facts before posting on public forum. Minors cannot do intraday and F&O but selling delivery shares is allowed by brokers such as Prostocks. In any case the tax liability is with the guardian so it doesnt matter whether you sell directly from minor acc or transfer to guarduian acc n sell....

@ Learner SK - You have to open an account with daughter as first holder & you as Guardian (attached my daughters HDFC account). ASBA of HDFC is user friendly, do not know about BOB.

I apply via UPI through my or wife account for IPO's. Used HDFC ASBA but never got allotment.

You can't open joint account in bank with minor but can open under gurdian account . If minor below 10 year old you can open only under gurdian account and above 10 year minor person you may open both under gurdian or self operated

133.6. @Durairaj,Tiruppur- kindly clarify how the online DIS of prostox works. It would be great if I can sell on the same day from a minor account. Have booked additional loss in Rainbow as could sell on the next day only after transfer to my account from my son's account. Because of this reason (transfer to gurdian account-one additional day) I never apply risky IPO in minors account after Rainbow. Is the online DIS of prostox just like the verification of holding before sell transaction in Zerodha, angel, upstox, etc through TPIN or something different from it?

@ Nifty Singh - It's same TPIN verification. You can sell by placing order in preopen itself. I sold the Global health (few other shares earlier) shares on listing day itself after this TPIN verification.
