In last lines, @Aman Ipo explained percentage will work.
So better to use common figure like 10, 15, 20 when selecting lower lot figure.

Yes, Sam Jos you are absolutely correct in your above example that if only 9 people are there in 16 lots and total it is oversubscribed by 320 times, then no one will get allotment but this will never happen. As seen in past Ipo's, there are many people who apply upto 15 lots, so choosing any no of lots upto 15, there will always be many people who would have applied in that lot category and it will always go in lottery.
However if you apply more than 15 lots, it is always better to apply in multiples of 5 so as to be safe that your application definitely goes into lottery.

PLEASE SUGGEST (~5L and 4 accounts).

1a. kaka 4 retail (4 accounts 1 lot each)
1b. kaka 4 hni (2 accounts 2 lots each)
1c. kaka 4 hni (1 account 4 lots)

OR

2a. drone 4 retail (4 accounts 1 lot each)

I got my first SME allotment when I applied 5 lots (in extremely heavily subscribed IPO) after trying retails for many months. So little soft corner for 5 lots ;-)

If i have to sell one lot due to money need. Which one should I sale? No worry for booking loss as I have gained enough from past ipos.

Kaka defeating Drone in subscription race so far...

Its size is half as compared to drone, that is the main reason. Otherwise, more money has been blocked in drone till now

Experienced members, please guide: Should I apply for Kaka and Drone both (1-1 application each) or should I apply for 2 lots in Kaka so that I fall in NII category and my chances of allotment are more? I hope my question makes sense. Please help.

Kaka Industries: NII = 37x, Retail = 103x
Drone Destination: NII = 28x, Retail = 83 x

NII come on last day. In both IPOs, they will overtake the retail. Don't worry. In your case, either way, chance is minimal less than 1% . So, apply anyway and pray for good luck.

The market is trading at ALL TIME HIGH
Level. All global market is behaving 360 degree different as Indian market. The main reason for this is greater liquidity in the market.
The recent example is Ideaforge. It listed @1300 on 7th July 2023. It went to as low as 1115 on 11th July and currently trading @1270 level. In this Cenario it's very difficult to trade in this market for common man. For common man it's very difficult to retain the earning whatever we have achieved rather than loosing it in this market. It's my firm belief that in the booming market it's very very difficult due to many good attraction which leads to us in the trap. I will maintain strict discipline in the market and will not cross my boundaries in any conditions. I will not apply highly priced ipos (SME) as the greedy promoters are eagerly taking the advantage of this boom. It's better that not to loose the money and preserve your earnings by giving the chance / opportunities to the others. This is my thinking and may not be suitable to others.

Your words & explanation hold true for even old MB & SME shares. This is perfect time to rejig & re-balance your portfolio.

At present two SMEs are talk of the town. KAKA to fight with DRONE. KAKA with half the issue size of DRONE. it's difficult for KAKA to compete with DRONE in terms of subscription figures.
In GMP according to C G, DRONE is not a front runner. One closing tomorrow and other day after tomorrow.
Let's enjoy the rece of both.
No member will like to remain behind in applying. Difficult to decide which to apply for limited fund holders. One main line IPO is also there with very good GMP. Allotment is difficult in all

3. Kaka sme ( due to lower size, same gmp of drone)
4. Netweb ( drone and kaka money will be used)

It's futile to use funds in KAKA and Drone, I will instead go for Utkarsh

Can we use current bank account which has same pan number and same name as in dmat account to apply for IPO?

I had mix information for internet but thanks to clear out.
Can we use the current account, even the name in current bank account is firm name, but name is pan card is person name.
pan card is same in bank account and demat.

No, in that case application is most likely to get rejected.

HNI allotment lottery basis or proportionate basis

Hni allotment is lottery basis at each lot level, but at super hni level ( much higher than os figures), it also becomes proportionate, e.g. at double of os figure lot level, each app might get 2 or 3 lot allotment.
