Listing is on BSE, so not possible.

bse won't allow listing above 100%.

Good Observation. Never noticed that. Is this any specific rules of BSE.
However, some of IPO's like Insolation Energy, Concord Control, Virtuoso Opto etc have more or near to exceeds 100% on listing day, if i am not wrong

There is no such rule which restrict to open IPO with more than 100% gain

All the recent IPOs of BSE SME including insolation, Concord, hemant surgical etc. has not given more than ~100% listing gain no matter how much the subscription is. So there might be some rule in BSE SME.

It's all lottery and i just wanted to apply all and not miss out. It's okay if i don't get allotment due to over subscription. It will super okay if by any luck i hit all the allotments by lottery.
Trying to manage money is difficult.

I always wonder if going all-in on one issue is a better approach or distributing across multiple is better. So far I also diversify in hopes of striking gold in at least 1 (or even more, if lucky), but I rarely find this approach fruitful as it simultaneously reduces probability too. Your thoughts?

Also, any renewed take on Mirza? And any idea on Redtape listing (when and at what price expected)?

Yeah right, 2.75 lakhs. ..but i have asked dealer to cancel booking as I'm waiting for scrambler 400 ...and got my 10k back. Dil machal gya scrambler ko showroom me dekh ke....in accessories I wont go for anything from brand as it is expensive and quite standard. After market stuff would be better.

Bought 500 shares of tgv and 1000 shares of mirza today. Both are at good value. Regarding red tape, if lists above 500 then I'll see to cut down holdings for principal amount.

@ValueSeeker Had to put funds somewhere in this bull market so i choose those 2 stocks because of valuation, and think if the sector is really that bad then whose taking huge deliveries.

@MVP  So then does it mean that each LOT category (eg. 5 lots, 15 lots, 25 lots, etc.) has a separate lottery based allotment? (subject to each of the LOT categories getting sufficient no. of applications)

For example if IPO gets subscribed 100 times, then whichever lot size category goes beyond 50 lots, gets eligible for lottery.

@Aman.raj Mathematically, yes, 5 retail and 5 lot HNI has same probability of allotment if subscription in both category is same.

So just for curiosity sake.... This issue subscribing 400x (HNI).... How many applications should've been received for, say, 5 LOT category to have qualified for separate lottery?

To cross the 50% mark, i.e. 200, it will need at least 41 HNI applications of 5 lots.

So just so that i understand better..... in this issue of 400x (HNI).......if I can get 10 people (or more) to apply for 20 LOTS each or say 5 people (or more) to apply for 40 LOTS each then it will improve our chances (as a group) to get 1 LOT by virtue of entering a separate lottery.... right?

@SMEIPO Most probably that particular lot size didn't get qualify for lottery, due to less than 50% applied lots of total HNI subscription.

@MVP So, here to get a confirm lot I need atleast,
430/2 = 215 lots = ~Rs. 2.5 Crores

Go get confirmed lot, you need to apply 430
If you apply 216, and one more person applys 216, then there will be a lottery and only one person will get 1 lot allotment.
If no one else applies 216, then you will get 1 lot.

My broker once said me that of you apply multiple applications for 1 PAN from different different Demat accounts then your all applications will stand cancelled automatically. From above conversation can I infer that he was wrong & applying multiple applications from asba & upi will give more probability for allotment ? Please give inputs.

@G.K. Goyal You are drawing wrong conclusion. Multiple applications from same PAN will be rejected, your broker is correct.
