My listing day plan is always the same: take out the principal on listing and keep the profits as shares forever. In case of discount listing, keep SL of -10% of IPO lower price band and if it doesn't hit then exit at day end with a loss. This may look like a weak hand action because I only care about the listing pop. This may not apply to everyone and I suggest you to never follow an advise blindly. Keep crowing. Thanks.

I will ride its upside momentum till it ends.Not planning to keep it in portfolio atleast for now as it will be little expensive after listing.

Whether I sell on listing or later will depend on how QIBS desperately want this stock in their pocket.If they buy in pre session I will hold for few days/week and if they dont buy in pre I will sell half in pre market and half on normal hours if it shows weakness.

I always keep my startegy simple basis on stock's valuation/sector/furure growth.Simple but always works :)

@crow thanks for advise Sir…usually I don’t sell the shares allotted in ipo…I keep for long term….but now funds are tight and many ipo in pipeline…I followed ur plan for concord…I am just confused if I should hold or sell the principal amount …also the PE is high for Jupiter and not sure if this will fly like Medanta and rainbow in the coming quarters…already having in Medanta and Rainbow in portfolio…🙏🏾

No allotment in HNI. Just one retail application got allotment. So, Thinking of exiting on listing day. If lists above 950, will exit. If lists below that, might hold with 850 SL.

I feel every option matters that is why requested fellow member for their listing day strategy

hbk as we know there is no such data available on instant so it's pure calculation based on some parameters such as buyers should be atleast 5x-10x than sellers/volume/how much QIBS already bidded(it shows demand if they bidded with good money chances are high that they may come at pre to grab the share at the lowest/anchorbook.

Thus I get to be right many times :) it works fine for me.

Rafid , it depends with what mindset you have applied and also I don't know you have received retail lot or hni lot. If your mindset was to book listing pop than no doubt go for that and don't regards whatever happens latter on to the share. Whether it rise or fall as there is always opportunities in the market. If your mindset is for long term than no doubt it is a good company and will reward in long term. Book some profit and hold rest for long term. Lakshmi should keep coming even you bought for long term. Its my strategy.
