I received recently allotment in Ratnaveer and Samhi for my kids ... I filled ProStocks in DP name ( as mentioned by others no body is giving damn abt this column but it is mandatory field ) and i too have CDSL id only so i left DP ID blank but fill 12 digit CDSL id under beneficiary account number ... DOB column u leave empty as it is not mandatory field ...

Yes in prostocks u can sell on listing day and in preopen too. I was alloted RRKabel and sold in preopen as few useless members in the forum created panic here that heavy selling will happen,listing in discount etc

And other questions apne daughter ka beneficiary registration add kiya tab kis ka Pan No. Show kar raha hai???

@kimgsmen - yes my login Id only. First u need to open ur account and then ur kid account will be opened and mapped under ur login id (with different account number). Initially my pan was showing and I had to write a letter to update my kid pan which is now reflecting. I will be applying for first time now so even i am learning overall process.

If you don't want to go with asba.

Kotak is best. Open kotak minor ac.
Make UPI id in kotak app.

Fill ipo through UPI only..

I am using since last 4 -5 days.

Here u can open demat ac in any branch who allowed to sell directly from minor account like prostock ( you can buy and sell) ,prudent ( only sell from demat,can't buy).

Bcs in asba , no of people applied from asba and bank accept ,but in most of cases , here pan sent to NSE is major soost of ipo not alloted.

So check that point only bcs bank says yes but this issue they also don't know

Sorry by mistake : It's 4-5 yrs through 8 minor ac and alloted no of ipo till date like IRFC, lxchem, sbicard, irctc, ratnaveer, netweb, etc....

@Kingsmen: Yes its compulsory to have parent account. first your account they will open and then kid.

Kotak provide debitcard and chequebook for minor.

So u can use UPI , in kotak app you can directly create UPI without debitcard ,in phone pay you can add debitcard details.

Only UPI allowed for ipo, bank told me that you can use asba ,but I have checked at that time and the issue is pan of major is there so no allotment , bcs of mismatch.
So UPI is only and best option.

In hdfc bank , we need to open major and minor 2 acs.
In kotak now you can open only minor ac directly. If you want to use major you can open 811 zero balance.

Kotak is best.For asba and UPI..

@ Dev investment advisory is there any minimum balance requirement in kotak minor account??. Do they update minor pan with minor savings account??

For major we can open zero balance,
In minor small town 5000 minimum balance and city like Ahmedabad 10000 minimum bal.

They donot update minor pan .
Pan is ours

But in UPI we have name of minor and in demat where we place UPI order name is same

So both matches. And ipo alloted.
Earlier we are using physical form.

Now we are applying through UPI in minor and also huf.

You will not be able to apply ipo for minor after 1st Dec, as SEBI will not see if names are matching.. Point is PAN should match in bank and demat, which will never happen in case of minor accounts. PAN in bank is always of Guardian/Parent.
You got allotment as 3rd party is still valid now, but will become inactive after 1st Dec

please correct me if i am wrong.
Note: Recently i had created fresh PAN for my kids but i am not opening bank and demat because of this issue

@Shine- first ur account will open and then kids account. Pan and aadhar card is required and for child they might need birth certificate too. It takes 7-10 days to open ur account and then again same for kids. Approach any nearby HDFC and they will come home and take docs and cheque. Tell relationship manager u r applying for IPO and that's the reason for opening accounts. In ur net banking login u will see child account too.

Could you please let me know, while applying for minor PAN card which phone number did you provide in NSDL website? Will there be a problem if I give parent's phone number which is already mapped to an existing PAN or should i get a new phone number and give it as minor's phone number while applying for minor's PAN in NSDL website? @manojIPO @Earthking @Dev Investment Advisory

@swar- it's kid pan only
@BR Groot- that will not make any difference. For my kid I have given my mobile only for pan and demat. Infact they say kid income is merged with parent income.

@FPS- u can sell any day once listing is done. Even same day u can sell there is no restrictions..it's same like ur account only

@manojIPO sir i also opened same account for my child in HDFC but they have linked my PAN not kid's PAN. I have submitted many applications to manager but they are unable to update my child's PAN (they dont know the procedure) . Please suggest how to update the same also share Branch name where u submitted the application so that they can contact them for the procedure to correct the same. Thanks for ur kind support.
